Roland Emmerich is gearing up to destroy the world yet again in his epic film 2012, which is based on the predictions of the Mayan calendar. Actor Chin Han, best known for his role as Lau in The Dark Knight, returns to the big screen this November as Tenzin, a Tibetan Monk desperately trying to save his family from an encroaching tidal wave that has ripped apart most of the world. We recently caught up with Chin Han, and this is what he had to say about Emmerich's latest film:
Tell us about Tenzin? What sort of dynamic does he add to the film, and how does his presence play an important role in the events that transpire throughout 2012?
Chin Han: Tenzin is a Tibetan who, by virtue of where he lives and what he does, finds out a secret that the governments of the world have been keeping from the people. »

Colin Jacobson takes in some smut on Blu-Ray.
As long as there are teens, there will be teen comedies, and many will walk the smutty side of the street. That's the path followed by Miss March, a flick with a plot straight out of the lyrics from the J. Geils Band's "Centerfold".

Now that we've had a few days to digest the gloriously moronic (and Nsfw) trailer for John Cusack's upcoming time-travel comedy Hot Tub Time Machine, we can't help thinking that it will either be the stupidest movie Rob Schneider never made or a so-dumb-it's-brilliant instant classic. Well, after speaking with Cusack about it, we're more convinced than ever it will be the latter. "We just finished shooting it a week or so ago," says Cusack, who stars in the film with Rob Corddry, Craig Robinson, and Clark Duke and succinctly describes the film as "four idiots who are thrown back into the '80s to go boldly where men have gone before." "It's a ridiculous film. You're pretty much either sold with the title, or it's not for you." By the way, if you haven't seen the trailer, here you go... We'll admit it. The first time we watched this thing, »

Trailer for I Love You, Beth Cooper in which a nerdy valedictorian proclaims his love for the hottest and most popular girl in school – Beth Cooper (Panettiere) – during his graduation speech. Much to his surprise, Beth shows up at his door that very night and decides to show him the best night of his life.
Chris Columbus (Home Alone) directs and teh film stars Hayden Panettiere (Heroes) and Paul Rust (Inglourious Basterds).
This is probably going to be rather cheesy teen nonsense. However I have a soft spot for this genre from teh 80's with films like Rob Reiner's The Sure Thing, John Hughes films (Sixteen Candles, Weird Science, Ferris Bueller's Day Off) and Paul Brickman's Risky Business. Luke Greenfield's 2004 movie The Girl Next Door captured the right vibe, showing it is possible to make quality movies of this kind post 2000. Larry Doyle who has written for »
