Extremely intense action film with a revenge theme. Stylish creative filmmaking. Thrilling, very well written and directed. 'Ballerina' is action revenge flick that full of personality, good performances and unique style. Of course the movie not add nothing new in the genre, but technally is impeccable. Overall is one of this year best gems. Overall a very good movie, the shots were amazing, how they put together the fight scene really made you feel the power of the punches they were putting out, the framing , the lighting and coloring was awesome, and you really root for the main character. Loved this movie.

The film is very divisive. Beyond the politics stuff that the other talked about, it's the kind of movie one loves or hates.
The movie is Hitchcockian, in the sense that it sets up multiple Β« bombs Β» throughout and keeps the viewer on edge by constantly reminding you of these bombs, while detonating some at key moments to alleviate the tension before setting up bigger ones. You are never comfortable during the entire movie. The strange ominous shots and the sometimes infuriating characters contribute to keeping the stress of the audience high and the anticipation is sometimes painful. It's a masterwork of pure tension.
Except that if you don't pick up on the setups for one reason or another, you are not worried and thus it's just a very boring 2h, because all the times the movies takes it slow to let the dread build are now just slow.
Another factor is that the end of the movie is voluntarily underwhelming. Not unfulfilling because every major question is answered and every character arc ends logically but because it is realistic, and answers in reality are often not that satisfying, the answers here aren't either.
It is one of my favorite movie of the year but if you were not in the good mindset watching it or it didn't grab you, you are going to have a bad time and hate it.

This is an odd movie that is not for everyone. The story is very plain, especially for the director, David Fincher, who has done very great story-driven movies. The plot is incredibly straightforward, with no twists or turns. It has uninteresting characters including the non-named main character who we only know anything from his constant monologues throughout. He just monologues about the meticulous nature of work and the same mantra he says to himself to be an assassin. He rarely ever interacts or speaks with any other characters making for a bland character. However, this meticulous nature is how the movie is made as well. You see it in the sleek camera work, gorgeous visuals, hypnotic soundtrack, terrific performance, well-crafted sound design, and mesmerizing violence. It is an oddly interesting film that is worth a watch.

A dark and claustrophobic bulding is the main stage of some horrifying events. A large family struggles to escape its premises. The last half hour delivers some of the most remarkable jump scares! Definitely an improvement from the first one especially the cinematography. The terror that is explored is very intelligent and new shooting techniques, as well as visuals that are both stunning and thrilling. But i think the story still a bit weak. But it still worth to watch for some gore stuff innit. Horror movies have to be scary. This film will terrorize your mind and will take you to its own scary dimension.

A well done suspenseful movie with a well done plot
A pretty decent film about demonic possession. I liked the interesting part about the box made to contain the demon and I liked the parts about the insects. Not as good as the exorcist. This highly underrated horror jaunt succeeds at three things - for one, it does a solid job setting up major plot devices, allowing for seamless transitions into the second and third acts without leaving the viewer's interest behind along the way. Secondly, the script is surprisingly well down, almost always opting to go beyond the traditional temptations of the format. Rather than relying solely on the jump scares and supernatural elements, the film utilizes the themes of divorce and familial discourse as a bedrock for plot elements. Third - the characters are easy to root for. Morgan's character is a lone wolf for the majority of the picture, making him the easiest to root for. Unlike other exorcist subjects, Calis' character seems to relish in the possession she's under and her family is cold towards Morgan, which does make it easier to be more apathetic towards them when they feel the pinch of their stupidity. They do however, come to their senses and are easier to root for from there. In short, a solid and underrated thriller I didn't expect to like, but now I'll be eager to watch again.

This is a pearl of Polish cinematography
As always polish movies never disappoint me. Polish cinematography is among the best in the world. It's been that way for 75 years, so I can understand how that is a noteworthy element of the film.
This Polish Netflix Original movie is based on a novel by Tadeusz Mostowicz, and it truly has everything. The music in it is amazing. Everything in the movie is so melancholic, the acting, the cinematography, the scenery. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie! When a movie rattles you emotions like this one does, then it is a true work of art. This is a masterpiece.

True hidden gem
"be a traveler, not a tourist" in life.
A film that make one realuse how many things there are in the world still too see, and how little time we have to see them. Despite all the tribulations that surround us there is plenty of beauty in the natural world. This was a surprising find. Just a really nice little low budget movie about a boring but loveable guy and a silly girl who gets him out of his comfort zone. It's touching and heartwarming, and those kinds of movies are rare these days.
Enjoyable to watch. Some humor. Scenic landscapes and a great message.
Have a peaceful watch.

This is one of the most underrated movies I've ever seen!
This is one of the best movies I've ever seen. An instant classic that seemed to me was overlooked in the 90's, and did not get the theatrical release it deserved. Truly unique, this movie is a force to be reckoned with. The suspense is non-stop, the actors are great, the artistry in this film is one of a kind. Truly it is a not-to-be-missed film for all fans who are fascinated by serial killers. "Ressurection" grabs you, and sucks you in, and doesn't let go 'till the very end. The film has a strong visual style and is quite solid in its storytelling.

Pretty wild adventure, enjoyable; nature at it's best. It's better for man to stay together vs the amazon, things goes wild, rough & tough into disaster in blink of eyes. Balut anyone? You have no idea what the jungle will do to your body & mind when you are lost, hungry, cold, pain & alone
This is based on a true story and I'm sure it was slightly exaggerated for dramatic effects... however just putting yourself in that situation and understanding the difficulties in surviving for 19 days in a jungle in South America and then miraculously being found alive! It was really an emotional ending for me. But I guess you have to feel like you're a part of the movie to really appreciate it.

Deeper than it looks. You want to hate all the characters in some ways, while also warming to them in their flaws. It puts some big, uncomfortable questions into play. The kind that make most of us squirm. It could have gone very badly. The filmmakers did a good job keeping it tense. Great actors in here, and Fiennes does a smashing job facing the craziness of the situation. The Forgiven is a no-hands-held psychological slow-burn, and leaves you feeling a mix of emotions. It's not for everyone, it's definitely not a thriller in the traditional sense. It is, however, filled with nuanced dialogue and symbolism, and will be enjoyed by those who like an introspective film, designed to be picked apart.

When you work in Washington, high finance, technology, or medicine, those are fields that can consume your life and your soul. It is this lifestyle that will either put you in prison or make you quit. Pretty solid drama based, I assume, on real US lobbying activities. It leaves a few questions unanswered, but a very enjoyable watch.
Anyone who does not appreciate this intense, smart political thriller is because he/she cannot keep up with the fast pace. The script is well concocted and Jessica Chastain takes it to another level. Thrillers this good are very sparingly made today.

I recently watched the movie "Hidden Strike" and I have to say, it was quite an entertaining evening. I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised by the level of humor and action in this film. One thing that really stood out to me was the unique stunts and combat scenes. It's refreshing to see a movie that doesn't rely solely on bullets and explosions to create excitement. Instead, "Hidden Strike" showcased a more creative approach to fighting, which I really appreciated. They added to the overall enjoyment of the film without overpowering the story. Additionally, the dialogue was not overly serious, but rather amusing, which added to the entertainment factor. It was a nice balance that kept me engaged throughout.

It's a great white knuckle movie. Pretty good plot, good twists, scary people. It's mix of Rear Window and other classics. Just good stuff. I liked it a lot.

I admired the mix of the very different topics of horror mixed here: The world of autopsies and the world of witches. Excellent movie in less than 90 minutes. Very good watch. It's rare to find a unique horror film nowadays, but this film sets itself apart from an otherwise tired genre. For the most part, it's difficult to see what comes next, it's difficult to distinguish what is real and what is not, and it kept me interested from beginning to end. If you're a horror fan, I strongly recommend giving this a watch. Incredibly scary and well done, highly recommend. Great story mystery!

Good Dracula movie based on Bram Stokes Dracula version. Enjoyed it very much! Hope they make future episodes continuing the story.
Some people might say the movie started slow, but a lot of character development and beautiful, detailed set designs of the ship were covered in this time. These are monumental developments that every movie should have. And the creature makeup and acting were all well done and aided in bringing the viewer into the story. I like how closely this movie followed the book. And i really liked how this story is told differently than other vampiric tales as you see how the story unfolds on the ship. Usually these stories are told mostly on land. As for the system that assigns seat, they double booked our seats so we had to sit in seats that werent as good.

One of my favorite sci-fi horror films
An interesting and original scifi that builds up suspense and an dystopian atmosphere. Low-budget movie but with a really good storyline, good cast and generally well made. I consider this movie a scifi classic - a must see for every scifi fanatic...

The movie has a lot of action. A LOT!

Simply story with GREAT action. Way better than thor love and thunder. I'd be very interested for hemsworth and Pratt to team up to do a more serious action movie like this considering how awesome this.

This is not a war movie. This is not an action movie. This is cathartic experience of the releasing of a bond of sacrifice, honor and humanity. Take out all the all guns and violence and you are left with two men who went through hell together and once you go on that journey you don't come out the other side until both of you are resting at home in bed with your families. There is no need to explain anything to us. Guy Ritchie manages to show us a story in such a nuanced why, the the interpreter not only interprets language, he interprets eyebrow movements, the shape of some ones smile, a little look there. In fact a good interpreter is one that can interpret what is not said and what is not done in the correct way. The actor who plays Ahmed was absolutely engrossing, he was able to draw us in and care about who story merely by the way he shows us, not even what he says and does, I really hope he gets recognition for this film, maybe even a Best Supporting Actor Nod. Jake Gylenhall was flawless as always. You felt the hook that was in him, like it was a real physical thing and he heeded to take out, otherwise he would not live in peace and be only half a man by not fulfilling his commitment, a commitment not spoken about it words but in sacrifice. I put this film in the same class of great Afghanistan war movies as 'Lone Survivor' (2013) as one of the best films ever made about the war in a Afghanistan. Long after the credit roll you are still left with their stories stuck in your head. Well done to the whole cast and crew for putting something together that I believe will become a timeless masterpiece.

Much better than I expected
some may like some may not but for me i like it , i enjoyed this as a simple film that's it
One of Jennifer Lopez's best performances!! Fun, action packed, and some stand out performances from Jennifer and Lucy!! Regardless of what the critics think π€ realistically the only base there opinion on what movies that interests them,honestly on a low budget movie for Netflix it's actually a pretty good movie,I believe it would've done well at the box office,Jennifer Lopez did a great job π she was on point for her age,great storyline and action π―ππΏππΏππΏπ
