The best game ever made
4 June 2007
This will be the best game ever made for a long time. I can play it for hours and hours, first time I played it, I was addicted. I love the fact you can do anything like shoot cops, pick up hookers, kill anyone, steal anyones car, drug deal, shoot any weapon, go anywhere, do ANYTHING. No game has ever or will ever come within of how great this game is. It really is the best game ever made, if you have not played it, play it! It is way better than all the other Grand Theft Auto's, all of them, even San Andreas. I have never been more addicted to such a fun game with great music, graphics, entertainment, all that jazz. In fact, I am going to play it right now, for hours.

This is what we get?
7 May 2007
It all started with Spider-Man number 1, awesome. The number 2, one of the best superhero films of ALL TIME. Then this one, a horribly written film that jumps all over the place more than any film has ever. What was Sam Raimi thinking? People we're dying to see Venom, they couldn't wait to see him, I personally was waiting before the first film was made. This is the villain people want to see more than any other. And this is what we get? Venom is on screen for twenty minutes, and it's played by... whatever his name is which doesn't cross my mind because of his poor performance as the villain. This was supposed to be the best of them all, the grandest, and needless to say, it is the worst. Seriously, a HORRIBLE HORRIBLE FILM. There are too many irrelevant scenes to even count, decent action, good acting only by Toby Maguire and Thomas Haden Church. And by the way, what the hell was that thing that he fell in before he turned into Sandman? We're they experimenting with sand castles? There is no explanation to anything at all in the film to what the hell that was, what and where the meteor came from, there are just too many villains. All I can say now is that they messed up. They messed up big time. This was supposed to be the film that everyone wanted to see because of Venom, HE'S ONLY ON SCREEN FOR TWENTY MINUTES!!!!!!!! THE REASON FOR THAT IS Because Peter Parker, Mary Jane, Harry, Aunt May, and Gwen Stacy all take turns crying in the film, this is the biggest crying fest I have ever seen on film. Every second, someone crys. This is about the relationship more than dealing with the Villain. Peter would rather cry than save people. I honestly thought this film was horrific to watch, and some scenes in the film I couldn't believe we're filmed. Save your money, this film wasn't worth me going to see it Thursday night, at midnight mind you, watching people cry for 2 hours and Venom for fifteen, getting out of the movie theater, and getting home at 3:30 am. Sam Raimi has destroyed this film, blame him.

Spectacular
10 April 2007
This film was one of the most entertaining films I have ever seen. It is awesome beyone belief. Quentin and Robert have completely outdone themselves in this kickass action packed film that certainly doesn't skimp on the gore. Great acting, and even a few humorous scenes, this is Quentin's best film since Pulp Fiction, and that's saying A LOT. No matter what you have heard about this film in a negative way, it is dead wrong. I want to correct my self, not only one of the most entertaining films I've ever seen, IT'S ONE OF THE BEST. I loved it so much, go see this, it's a long one, relax and enjoy. Also the trailers in the film are hilarious and done very well, a true homage to the great 70's double features. Excellent job Quentin and Robert.

Entertainment brought to a new level
4 April 2007
This is one of the most entertaining films I've seen in a long time. I liked the original, this one was a little different, maybe a little better. Glen Morgan took the film and made it his own, and I must say he did a excellent job. I liked the writing, directing, acting, and it didn't skimp on the gore. The only complaint I have, and I'm sure others feel the same, is that there is WAY too many eyeballs in this movie. Everyone is getting their eyeballs pulled out, and when their not, the camera focuses on an eyeball, it got a little ridiculous. Other than that, I loved it. The music was good as well. I highly recommend it.

what is happening to animated films?
1 April 2007
This is not only the worst animated film ever made, it's one of the worst films ever made. While watching the movie, at no point did I get tuned in to it. It is boring, pointless, stupid, dumb, horrible plot, everything was wrong. The best animated films of ALL TIME are Toy Story, Toy Story 2, The Incredibles, Monster House, Finding Nemo, Madagascar and Hoodwinked. What happened do you ask? Over the hedge, Barnyard and Open Season came out. Then the writer said, how can we add those horrible movies together and make one even worse? One year later, HAPPY FEET, an awful awful film. I don't like George Miller, and this makes me dislike him even more. Stay away from this movie.

Let's just pretend this wasn't made
23 March 2007
Warning: Spoilers
Spoiler I wish we could all pretend it wasn't. Man, it was bad. I love Wes Craven's films and I think he is a very good director, even though he didn't direct this film, it was horrible. What they should have done was start off where the first finished. Then the family would have NO WHERE to go, the camper gone, a lot of monsters left, and it will be dark, they will be forced to just run. The writing was bad, the directing mediocre, the acting just as bad as the writing, nothing was good. The monsters looked pretty fake, nothing was appealing. There was a scene in the beginning starting off with a scientist in the dessert, he turned to look at the tent where his friends we're supposed to be, but weren't. He turned around and saw the monster with a human arm in his mouth biting the skin off and he said, "Hi. Are you lost? My name is _______. Do you need help?" The monster bit off a piece of skin, chewed it and looked at the scientist. "Do you need any help at all?" Then the monster killed him. No lie, this actually happened, I couldn't believed it and I laughed hard. I hated this movie, don't watch it. I hope Wes does better next time.

will never eat another burger as long as I live
21 March 2007
this film really opened my eyes to what I really do every time I walk into McDonalds or Burger King. It will never happen again. I loved this film, and it was so powerful, the ending nearly had me in tears as my eyes were glued to the screen. Bravo to Richard Linklater who is a outstanding director. If you eat a lot of cheeseburgers, watch this film. What humans do to cows is disgusting and HORRIBLY wrong and you will see in this film. this is the best documentary type film since Fahrenheit 9/11, I highly enjoyed it. I also highly recommend the film to anyone who works at a fast food restaurant, or eat a lot of it, or just to anyone, WATCH THIS MOVIE, it will change what you do every time you walk into a fast food place. I loved it.

The only film I have ever seen that was hard to watch
18 March 2007
This film makes you FEEL the characters. You aren't even introduced to the characters and you feel their pain, it's very depressing. Darren Aronofsky did a excellent, and I mean EXCELLENT, job with the camera angles, the effect, the music was great, everything. This film was very hard to watch in some scenes, perhaps because the acting was great, Ellen Burstyn should have won the Oscar in my opinion. I stumbled upon it at FYE, watched it, and never wanted to see it again in my life. I wanted the DVD in the trash because it was that powerful and moving. I turned the film onto friends and family and I hear the same reaction from everyone, "Man that was sad" or "It was too depressing." I highly recommend this MUST SEE film

I was both disappointed, but at the same time I loved it
18 March 2007
When I watched Saw, it was the only film to make me stand up off the couch with disbelief of what I saw. Brilliant writing, great acting, dynamite directing, everything rolled up into what became my all time favorite film. This film on the other hand was different. The writing was somewhat "used". I just kept guessing where the story was going to go every scene, and that's not really a bad thing. I love the film, the twist was actually pretty smart, just a little corn ballish scene that reminded me of Child's Play. If you are Sawe fans, I wouldn't see it, if you hated Saw, go ahead and see it, you will most likely hate it to. It doesn't target a particular crowd at all except for those who want to see it. In my opinion, very well done. 8/10

i have never been so stunned by and ending in my life.
4 March 2007
"Oh my god!" this is the best twist ending I have ever seen in a movie in my entire life. I was watching it on the couch, and when the twist came, I literally stood up off the couch, and screamed at the top of my lungs. I pointed at the TV and jumped up and down wanting to watch it again and again, Leigh Whannel and James Wan are genius. No movie has ever had this much of an impact on me. If you have never seen this film, watch it. If you have skipped it and went to the second or third, don't watch it, it will be ruined. Brilliant, class A directing, grade B acting, unbelievable ending. I only wish I would have seen it in the theaters. I had my doubts at first, but I found it in my brothers room, watched it, and I am so happy that I did. Goes to show low budget movies with a great story can go a LONG way.

Clue (1985)

one of my favorites
13 February 2007
i could watch it over and over again, it never gets old. They don't make movies like this gem anymore. It's funny, smart and creative. Tim Curry had me holding my side laughing so hard i almost died. If a movie were to be made today based on a game, board or video, it would NEVER come this close. I wish I could go higher than 10 out of 10, because thats how good the movie is, literally in my top 5 favorites. I love how Johnathan Lynn wrote it, not using basic old slapstick comedy, and using original fresh comedy. It is very underrated and I absolutely love the film, and like i said, could watch it over and over again. i highly recommend it, 10/10.

Pobably one of the worst films ever made by the hands of man
27 January 2007
Warning: Spoilers
some spoilers....the stupidest movie i have ever seen in my entire life. the writing is so horrible, the directing is of a thirteen year old boy, i can't understand why the budget is 12 million and it seems so cheap, for example if you look on the part where they show the map with the red words, at the bottom it has some website or something, not too high tech. It is so freaking stupid that he says, "You know I told you i was a video game programmer right. That was a lie. Actually I'm a hit-man." that's like saying I'm not really a pre-school teacher, that was a lie, I'm really the terminator. this movie on a scale of one to ten, ten being the highest, is a ten on cheesiness. It is so awful.. so so awful. If there is anyone out there who wants to see this movie, skip it and watch something good like Man On Fire or something. this sucks like Pamela Anderson on a blind date. oh and don't mention people screwing in public... oh man.. oh man.. so crappy.

In my opinion, the best Texas chainsaw of all.
16 January 2007
I think of all the Texas chainsaw massacre films, this is the best. And it has a really good explanation of how leatherface got to the way he is. It actually trys to stay somewhat true to the original, not story wise, but physically. The grainy texture on the film, the quick pans and fast zooms. It really is one of the best horror films, in my top ten. Way better than the Jessica Beil version, that one doesn't touch this. I don't want to say too much about the film because a lot of the scenes are really good and shocking. So go ahead and pay full ticket price for this one, it's worth it for sure. Great directing, writing, acting, and overall just a great film. I loved it. 10/10.

Excellent
13 January 2007
this film is excellent. i don't care what anyone says, it is good. this film makes you feel the characters, and it is indeed a sad sad movie. I have to give my hat off to justin timberlake, emile hirsch, and anton yelchin for their great, no, outstanding acting in this drama/ action film. great directing and writing, with few irrelevant scenes, but is hard to notice with the dynamic drama of the film. i highly recommend this film to anyone who has the intention of seeing it, it was a pleaser for me. the only problem i had with the film was actually the amount of scenes that didn't need to be in the film at all. other than that, excellent. 10/10

one of the worst films i have ever seen in my entire life
12 January 2007
Warning: Spoilers
spoilers awful, horrible, el sucko, stupid, the ending sucked, horrible acting, typical, constant, doesn't make sense, i wish tyrese died, the action sucked, why do you need to buy gas to use the bathroom?, how come every person in the film was a gangster including the pre school teacher?, there's no way he would've survived the crash. these are terms that might describe this movie if you watched it. It had potential. Just a little potential but it was all thrown away by the horrendous acting and story. Larenz Tate is the only good one and he ends up dying. It is quite a typical movie, just like cradle 2 the grave. About a "gangster" who loves their kid and the kid gets kidnapped for money, at the end after a few bad jokes and mediocre action, they get the kid back. At the end of this one, Tyrese gets stopped by the cops and decides to pull a Thelma and Louise by driving around sixty five miles an hour into a river. Well I guess he's god or something cause he ends up living somehow, which keep in mind, at that speed is impossible considering how he landed. This film has probably the worst ending I have ever seen in a film and should be outlawed in every single part of the world. The writer should swallow a active grenade and hug the director.
