When I heard that the original series was being adapted into live-action, I was absolutely hyped for it. When the day finally came, I sat down and watched the premiere of this episode. I have to say, this is probably the greatest start to any series that I have seen in quite a while. It presents great improved development of the characters after the preceding film did not do exactly the best job. I liked how Lincoln always had a strategy in this episode, and I thought he always made the right decisions. Heck, even the thing he did with getting Todd to pass off as him seemed well thought-out. He really is the man with the plan, as he claims at the beginning of the episode. I also like the song at the end. I feel like it gives us the perfect introduction to this new series by actually having the end occur on a high note. I am glad that Lincoln actually cares about the people who are important to him, and I'd say that he did exactly the right thing in this episode. Now I can't wait to watch the rest of the series after seeing just how well the first episode went.

A really bad first episode

Everyone, I really wanted to not hate this show. But oh boy did that fail! This is a terrible first episode (especially for someone who's been watching since 2016) for an unneeded spinoff. Here are some reasons why this show/episode doesn't work for me:
1. All the cutaways that contribute nothing to the story (or are even funny) 2. The way this episode's ending makes it pointless 3. The terrible CGI of Lana's hamster and snake 4. Bad acting 5. Characters acting idiotic for plot convenience
It doesn't even do the "pointless ending" type in a cleverly written way like Con Hare from Brandy & Mr. Whiskers. All I got was a song after boredly sitting and ended up just there in the end. A really bad show, I'm so far not a fan of this reboot; I'd rather watch The Casagrandes, at least the animation was good when it still aired.
