Miss Potter (2006) More at IMDbPro »

The content of this page was created directly by users and has not been screened or verified by IMDb staff.
Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.
Visit our Parents Guide Help to learn more

Sex & Nudity

There is absolutely no sex or nudity in this movie. The closest it comes is a short kiss between Zellweger and Mcgregor

Violence & Gore

There is not an instance of violence or gore in the entire movie.

Profanity

In the auction scene, a man in the back says "rich bastard" in response to another man upping the bid. This was not said very loudly and could easily be missed by a viewer. I did not notice any other offensive words.

Taking place in 19th century Britain, there is some drinking of alcohol, (wine, etc.) Other than that, no drugs or tobacco.

There are no instances of frightening or intense scenes.
