Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

A CG naked human-looking Terminator fights a man. But his genitals are not visible by shadow and mist.

Several men surround and attack a stranded woman where they verbalize the intention to rape her.

A female character shows her bare breasts briefly & then covers with her hands. A man is watching her. Note: Only on Director's Cut.

Violence & Gore

The violence in the movie is frequent but not very graphic, albeit a few scenes. - We see a very realistic lethal injection being administered to a convict on death row.

- Several soldiers run through a battlefield, we see dead bodies lying everywhere.

- A helicopter is shot down. We see it plummeting to the ground from the point of view of a passenger.

- A man fights hand-to-hand with a somewhat dismembered terminator. The man gets punched and thrown around repeatedly, giving him some bloody bruises. The man shoots the terminator with a mounted machine gun, littering it with bullet holes and destroying it.

- A huge Harvester terminator attacks a group of people, we see them get violently whisked away by its huge arms and dropped into a storage box.

- As people flee from the Harvester, it fires upon several vehicles that are full of people. All of the vehicles are violently blown to pieces in fiery explosions, and while we see nothing graphic, it is assumed that all of the passengers were killed in the attack.

- A man gets thrown off of one of the Aerial Hunter-Killers, and plummets towards a river. We see him violently bounce off of the water like a rag doll.

- Several men surround a female pilot while she is resting and their dialogue quickly reveals they intend to rape her. She tries to defend herself but is quickly overpowered and forced to the ground. Another character intervenes and saves her while harming the attackers. The scene might be disturbing to some viewers for the hopelessness of the female pilot's situation.

- A man is shot with a minigun. We do not see any blood, but see his clothes get ripped apart from a distance.

- A character steps on a landmine and is believed to be killed in the blast. Upon further inspection under all of the blood and burnt flesh, it is revealed he is actually a cyborg. The scenes showing his insides are fairly graphic, we see burnt flesh, dripping blood, and exposed organs including his heart, among of course his metal bones and frame.

- A character is caught in an explosion and gets burnt. We see part of his face burned off showing his cybernetic skull and eye.

- A man gets attacked by a Hydrobot. We see the water become bloody as he is pulled under.

- A man is seen with blood coming out of his eyes, nose, and mouth.

- Several soldiers are seen getting shot by terminators, on one occasion we see blood splatter on the wall as the man falls.

- A man impales a terminator's head on a metal spike. The terminator begins wildly firing its minigun around the room in chaos as the man runs for cover.

- A T-800 resembling the model from the original 'Terminator' film attacks John Conner. John Conner shoots it several times with a sidearm, blowing off chunks of its flesh. The two get in a fist fight, and after John punches it in the face, the T-800 slams him into a wall. In a later scene the T-800 is shot repeatedly with a grenade launcher, graphically blowing its outer skin off. Blood and gore is briefly seen as it is destroyed.

- A man dumps liquid metal onto a T-800. As the metal begins to harden on the T-800, it lunges at the man and slashes his face, leaving a long, bloody cut across his face.

- A T-800 impales a man on a metal spike, we see blood on his shirt and see blood coming out of his mouth.

- Two terminators get in a fight. The two exchange blows to each other that regular humans could not survive until one of the two gets the upper hand and rips the other's head off.

Profanity

1 nearly indecipherable F-word, 4 scatological terms, 1 anatomical term, 9 mild obscenities, and at least several blasphemies.

The appearance of the T-800 while John Conner is fighting it and it has chunks of skin and blood hanging off of its metallic skeleton may frighten some viewers.

The appearance of the various terminators may frighten some viewers.

A couple jump scenes. Be aware that when there is total silence a terminator will come out of nowhere in a matter of seconds.
