Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.
Visit our Parents Guide Help to learn more

Sex & Nudity

There is no nudity shown

Violence & Gore

There is some violence, and deaths occur. The girl is stabbed to death but there is no blood. An reptilian creature dies of natural causes after which his face is shown to crumble and collapse in on itself like ruble.

Profanity

Parents should be warned; there are scenes of torture against a podling and a gelfling by the Skekses that might be frightening for young children. The Skekses are scary-looking creatures that seem to be a mix of a dinosaur and a vulture. A 10-year old boy who was watching this movie with us, when he saw the part where the Skekses were dueling to see who would be Emperor, said, "Oh, this is going to give me nightmares", and he left. (but NORMAL 10 year olds shoud be fine)
