Honestly, I wasn't too sure about watching this when the read the negative reviews on here. But after watching it, I loved it. It's lighthearted, interesting and creative storyline with just the right amount of flirting and romance.
The main character, Ana Santos, is a nobody moved to NYC living on her sister's futon with no savings. She has a Masters in Arts and works at a popular art gallery hoping to be noticed by her boss. She does, and flies to London on a last-minute notice and coincidentally meets this guy she ends up really liking. But there's a twist, she's not who she says she is. Honestly I can understand why she did it and sometimes we get so carried on in conversation we don't care to correct any errors that pop up. And then, things happen - the good, the bad, and it's about how she navigates this and ends up achieving everything she has dreamed for herself.
Being a millenial, this gave me such nostalgic Princess Diaries or Monte Carlo vibes, the feel-good romance and adventure. I have no complaints big enough to write home about, but overall, great movie!! Perfect for a chilled casual day when you want to relax.
