The movie is a play on headlines over the decades about Sinatra and his "Rat Pack" A great cast and historically correct, although exaggerated for entrainment the movie is a must see for any fan of Sinatra or the Rat Pack ere of entrainment history. Notable is that Liotta was approached about playing Frank in a bio-pic by the Sinatra daughters ,however. When Liotta accepted this role for HBO he is said to have been sent a horse head from the Sinatra daughters, a famous scene from the Godfather movie where a horse head was given to an enemy of the family as a warning. Although the head sent to Liotta was a stuffed toy, the message was there.
