From my experience watching star wars shows, including Clone Wars, Rebels, and even Mandalorian, this one has gotten off to the strongest start.
One thing I love about star wars is its adventure mixed with action, but to me what separates Bad Batch from the rest is its established narrative around Omega and the support of the Bad Batch around her. In clone wars, the show is always switching narrative from Ashoka to Anakin from Yoda to Obi- Wan, yes it makes the show great but it can get a little sloppy, hence so many filler episodes in clone wars (like the ones that were about the droids). Rebels in my opinion never really takes off until the 3rd season, no real story line I believe took place before that. It was just them always running into trouble. And Mandalorian in my opinion yes its good but all the storyline was for 2 seasons was to protect baby Yoda, and now that he's did that, the story is about to be about something else? So no real story line has really ever been established for Mandalorian yet. With Bad Batch I feel like we have so much cooking for us to look foward into the show. Hunter vs Crosshair, the Empire still trying to capture Omega for her cloning, Bad Batches future in the war, return of Vader? And all done around the dynamic of a team, which is juat personal preference to me, but I love when star wars establishes a team spirit around the theme similar to rebels, rogue one, and even Han Solo which I enjoyed. Im just confused on the bad reveiws because I don't understand what they did so differently bad . It has everything you love about Star Wars, from action, to adventure, to the suspense, to the score, to the animation, its all done really well. In my opinion ignore the bad reviews.
