It was on my list from a very long time, but I managed to watch it completely yesterday. Movie left me with a great, inexplicable feeling at the end. Usually, I do feel that way when I watch or read something very good. I enjoy cooking and reading about or watching romance between different races. Today's special has exactly what I love. Plus, it has a story about a guy from India, experiencing the partition of India and Pakistan. I could relate so much as a foreigner, living in America when some characters in the movie struggle in America, as an immigrant. Naseeruddin Shah, a cab driver completely changes Aasif Mandvi with his philosophy on cooking and life. Aasif gets the right guidance and becomes successful from a total loser. At the end, Aasif wouldn't regret not going to France, for an internship.
