Warning: Spoilers
The first season is quite interesting, has suspense, a promising story and two good performances (Milo Ventimiglia and Diedrich Bader). Despite Nicky Whealan's insipid character, it could have become a popular thriller. I'm giving it a quite generous rating for it.

Sadly, the change of focus to Jacob Orr as the leading guy was a risky move that didn't work well. The character is not as solid as Ian Mitchell (who we see in a couple of Season 2 scenes that are just filler), Chad Michael Murray fails to make him anything other than dull and far-fetched, and the abundance of unanswered questions or unexplained inconsistencies don't help. The show becomes a vessel in the sea without a port of departure or a particular destination in mind. I didn't even try to watch the third season because I didn't hope they could plot the course. Both viewers and network execs can get tired of a story they can't make sense of...and that's the reason why Season 4 won't probably be. I feel a bit sad for Milo Ventimiglia for that.
