An average (good enough to watch) movie overall
28 September 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I don't get why they have to put something stupid in there like a rock song out of nowhere in a serious film. Or a guy making stupid jokes. I expected more after reading the synopsis and watching the introduction animation. The theme was scary but somehow it just failed to deliver 'mariana trench' level terror. Also at the end of the movie, there was plenty of space in the capsules, she could've just hoped in one of the two. Better than looking out the window and enjoying the sight while death draws near you. Very unrealistic.

Awesome film
11 September 2021
Overall the movie is great. However it doesn't connect with the first movie in anyway which is a bit odd.

It's a fraud!
29 July 2021
Warning: Spoilers
People can't be serious with these ratings. This probably gets the award of the immature movie with highest rating. Where a slight misstep can lead to death, the son (with his foot broken) decides to wander around while his mother was away. The daughter goes out on a critical mission all alone without telling anyone knowing she is the worst person for this job as she can't hear. Overacting at it's best, IDK whom were they trying to fool...guess they did it pretty good in the end. And oh I've an idea to kill all monsters, just get some speakers with loud music on an island in the middle of water. They'll all come chasing it and die by jumping in the water. The whole point of this film was to show audience they found a way to kill it through the ending scene. There's nothing else special I found in this movie. The best part of whole movie was the intro where they showed how it all started.

Kind of movies we need from Bollywood
21 May 2021
I can't call it a legendary film. It was good but maybe a bit too slow which causes a little lack in continues suspense. But other than that it was pretty nice. We need more films like this from Bollywood which is commonly known for ridiculous plots.

Silly but okay
20 May 2021
Warning: Spoilers
A supercomputer "superior" to Godzilla just went down completely as a result of a kid dropping some liquid in the control room? Okay!

In my opinion these movies can be made so great if they only give them a serious tone. Show how many people died, families lost and broken, properties and lives ruined as a result of this monster war. But instead, everytime one or two kids come out of nowhere and settle the whole situation by some random act. Let the monsters do what they're capable of: spread destruction and grief everywhere. Don't make it a typical fantasy or adventure film like Jumanji.

And oh the tech shown in the film is absolutely ridiculous. I'm not against it, but keep it in limit and don't take it too far. Not to the extent that it becomes laughable.

In short, cinema could be turned so great only if the directors could come out of their 90 years old kids mentality and become adults.

A dementia film partially right but doesn't highlight a very important point
10 May 2021
Everyone here is praising the fact that the film shows how a patient of dementia suffers alongside their family members. But can we talk about the main lesson we can take from this movie? The daughter was NOT A GOOD DAUGHTER. Yes you heard it right. She left her sick mom alone in a big house. I know this filthy practice of abandoning old parents is more common in west. But here in my society and culture, it's considered one of the most dirtiest sin a human could commit. They bring you into this world, they grow you up, pay for your expenses, change your diapers, etc. Yes you have to pay them back when they turn old. That's why our prophet pbuh said heaven lies beneath your mother's feet. And it is compulsory for everyone in Islam to look after their parents properly when they turn old. We don't drop them in old homes or leave them abandon. And I'm proud of my culture and teachings of my religion. For all of you who keep running yoir mouths against us, try living with us sometime rather than just watching your propagandist media to develop an opinion about us. There is no need of putting flowers on your parent's corpse in her funereal or claiming they were very important to you at the end because no you were selfish. You cared more about your job or making money than your parents, who had the most right on you after ALLAH.

Silly
9 April 2021
Warning: Spoilers
"The Perfection" is perfectly silly. I get it when the villians are shown crazy, but not when the main characters are mad. It was almost like they tried to justify stupid acts like chopping people's hand. Yes rape is a big human abuse. But so is chopping someone's organ, maybe even bigger because the person is left disabled for whole life. Does further abusing someone an already abused person helps them? I don't get the whole point of this film. If it's only created for entertainment purpose, I'd say it's pretty good. It's enjoyable for sure but this movie failed to make any sense.

More of an emotional film
13 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
The concept is great. I also like the story. But I guess it could've been much better. This movie was meant to be an emotional drama in the box of horror. But I don't think they achieved their aim 100%. I think the sad vibes were not enough even though they were the main objective. The drama should've been better. Little bit improvement in acting and script could've bought way more audience to tears. The people who knew they were about to die in few hours didn't seem enough sad about leaving their loved ones. I think it also lacked dialogues which make sad films great.

Nevertheless, this movie gives us a silent message. We don't care about people as long as they are present. But once the time arrives to say good-bye, then we start recalling all the moments we spent with them. Then we wish the past could return so we enjoy those moments as they deserved.

We should thank ALLAH for all the blessings he gave us, specially the people around us whom we love. And we should try to make the most out of the time we have with them. Because one day, everyone goes through the same fate. I don't hope we get struck by a zombie apocalypse but still someday we have to say good-bye to our old parents, our siblings, or anyone. Death is a TRUTH and it's just the rule of nature, we can't do anything about it. We can keep lying to ourselves that we'll live with our lovedones forever but it won't make any difference to our fate. So we should enjoy every single moment with them as long as they and we are sound and healthy.

Thrilling adventure
1 March 2021
Excellent movie. Realistic and disturbing than many Hollywood horror movies. And it's not just horror, it's suspenseful at the same time. Turkish horror is very underrated just because of language barrier. But watch it with subtitles, I'm sure you'll love it if you're into stuff like Paranormal activity and Blair Witch Project.

Nice drama
22 February 2021
There can be a lot of conclusions people can takeout from this movie, a lot of lessons, a lot of judgments, etc. And everyone will find a different purpose for this film. I'm not gonna think that deep and just watched it as a 2 hour drama. Excellent acting by everyone and I loved it. And 7 stars is the maximum I think this movie deserves from me.

Good performance by lead actor Aiden O'Neil throughout. I didn't really like the plot. But I'll take it as a slasher film.

Soul touching and visually fabulous
21 February 2020
Awesome horror show with chilling atmosphere and suspense. I'm giving it 7 because many scenes don't make any sense to me and that matters to me alot when it comes to rate a show/movie. Maybe it was a little too long as well for a very limited story. But is this one of the best horror/mystery stuff to watch out there? YES. Does it worth giving a shot? YES. It's a very good emotional experience for viewers. I'd like to add that I'm giving this review when there's only one season released. If a second season came out in future, this review is not about that.

Not for all audience
15 February 2020
The depression triology (Antichrist, Nymphomaniac 1&2 and Melancholia) are amazing movies. However, they'e not for everyone. If you haven't felt such pain ever and you've always lived a happy life, there's no way you can understand the main theme of these three films.

One time watch
1 February 2020
It starts off pretty good and takes all your interest in the beginning, but turns a bit casual after a while. Still not bad, better than many horror/thriller movies out there. However, not great. I liked the concept of showing nudity in horror films too.

One of the best horror movies ever made
28 January 2020
This movie isn't a typical horror movie. This movie does a very good job of keeping you in tension of what's gonna happen now. The acting of main character is more than wonderful. I'm adding this review in 2020 and upto this date, not many horror movies have been made that can compete in keeping people scared throughout the movie. Only few such films which are coming up to my mind right now are The Conjuring (2013), The Strangers (2008) and Jackals (2017). I would rank this movie at #2 after the conjuring for it's chilling atmosphere and the place where the movie is shot makes it even more scary.

Adventure that doesn't make any sense
26 January 2020
It fills the purpose of entertainment to a certain level but you can say it's ridiculously senseless. Pretty much watchable to pass your time if you're bored though.

Not what I expected
25 January 2020
Warning: Spoilers
This movie tells us what happened to Jesse Pinkman after he escaped from Jack's gang. Now if you're expecting that he'd be dealing with the DEA or some big trouble in this film like Breaking Bad, that's not to case here. He only deals with two random guys who arean't that special. At the end he simply kills them, takes their money, gives it to "the disappearer" and gets a fresh start to his life. Well it's not bad and pretty happy ending too. But there isn't enough tension and suspense in this like Breaking Bad. In my opinion, he should've been atleast having trouble with cops or maybe in getting disappeared. They also didn't told us what happened to Skinny Pete who took care of the car Jesse bought from Jack's place (he probably went into police custody). I have to say it might be a disappointment because audience expected a bit more because of "A breaking bad movie" title associated with it. You still gotta watch it though if you've watched Breaking Bad. So don't overthink. Don't get me wrong, the movie is not boring or bad by any means but less than expectations.

Please just don't miss it
24 January 2020
I'm adding this review after watching all 5 seasons. This is the best thing that has ever been made to watch. This is one of those shows that you're gonna remember for the rest of your life after you finish it. This might even change your taste in movies/tv shows completely and you might not like any other movie for a long time (atleast till the memory of this show starts to fade). First three seasons are just build ups, the real thrill is in 4th and 5th season. But even the first season won't leave your attention for one second.

Another stupid fantasy for kids like the first movie
24 January 2020
Waste of almost 3 hours. I don't understand why movies like this get so much hype. Laterally "no scene" in the movie makes any sense. Your kids might like this, but if you're an adult and you still liked it, you seriously need to get your taste right in movies.

Chilling atmosphere.... And that's it
13 November 2019
I love horror movies which takes us to ancient times. But this one was disappointing. Could've created something way better than this with the same concept. But no I'm not gonna like a movie with just a superman child creating mess all around a village.

Just a casual spy film
7 November 2019
I'm adding this review after watching Red Sparrow (2018) and Anna (2019). I was expecting more from this film but it didn't met my expectations. The story and acting weren't too amazing. Plus there was no twist like in Anna. It's watchable, might have been a great spy movie back in 2010 when it was released, but certainly no way near a spectacular film in 2019.

Just incredible!
6 November 2019
This is one of the very best movies I've seen in a long time. Acting, story, constant tension and suspense, in short it has all good elements required to give you 100% entertainment. The most beautiful expect which makes this film great is amazing use of brain by the director and writers. The way main character does his homework in order to fool the police to free his wife was more than awesome. Not a masterpieces ofcourse but it is one of those movies I'm gonna recommend to all my friends and cousins. Maybe to you guys also reading this review.

Childish, casual, predictable, stupid ending, story also not impressive
2 November 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Can't understand why movies like this get so much hype. It's another over-hyped horror movie like IT. It's actually more of a fantasy film than horror. The concept is poor at first place. Seriously are stories killing people in 2019? People who liked it need to get their taste right in movies. And after all the crazyness, the ghost gets melted by some emotional talk from the actress and it all stops. Wow I'm seriously impressed! And seriously where was the "mystery" in the movie as the genre says? STOP FOOLING PEOPLE!

A masterpiece! Not for all audience ofcourse
31 October 2019
The second half of the story was surprisingly better than the first one. I almost slept while watching the volume 1. But after watching this one I can't help saying what a movie! I actually watched the uncut version which is 3 hours long. I pitty those who got this movie just as a "sex film". You will only understand this film if you've some experiences same as the main character. I'm myself a sex addict and I'm too much into categories like BDSM and humiliating sex which other people think is stupid and laugh on. I'm also experiencing sexual weakness and frustration lately which I haven't told anybody about yet. Though I'm not in too miserable condition and I'm confident I'll be okay till the time of my marriage, but this film showed the world what people like us feel which no one seems to understand. Psychological sickness is real people and it's different in everyone's case. And you have to experience that sickness yourself in order to understand it. That's the reason why the critics didn't liked this movie. But for me, I LOVED IT! Great acting, beautifully made witch peacefull atmosphere. This movie made me feel my true self really and it touched my heart. And yeah the ending killed it....just WONDERFUL work!

It's a love adventure maybe
29 October 2019
I tried very hard to enjoy this film. Drama movies aren't meant to be boring. This one was just too slow with not very attractive story and no suspense/twist. However, it has some promissing things too like the acting was amazing, the movie is beautifully made specially the ending is pretty heart touching and lovely. But it is just too long for a very limited content. Maybe it should've been a 80/90 minutes movie.
