Taken (2008)
Little known film has big thrills!!!!!
WOW. This movie completely blew me out of the water. Liam Neeson decides to take the reigns of a action movie at his age and delivers nothing but gold. Me and my friends went to go watch this movie and we thought it would be a half decent action flick. We were shocked to discover how good this movie really is. If your looking for a great film to see during the next couple weeks give this movie a shot. It isn't a deep thought provoking film, it's big it's loud and it's awesome. You can quote about half of this movie back and forth with friends for days afterwords because the scenes are so bad***. Also for LOST fans out there who miss Shannon, Maggie Grace makes a nice supporting character that you do end up caring for in the film which helps you root for Liam Neeson even more.
Taken is the new Bourne movie, check it out.
Third Watch: Greatest Detectives in the World (2004)
Great Fantastic Watch if at all Possible
Not being a huge viewer of Third Watch I was flipping through channels and came across the beginning of this episode literally when it began exactly from the beginning to climatic se7en type cliffhanger ending I found it to be a truly great episode of third watch and is complimented by it's concluding episode featuring a well places song by Green Day at a very emotional part of the story, I truly found this to be the best of the Third Watch episodes I have seen and would recommend that whoever has the opportunity to buy this season on DVD and enjoys good thrillers, buy it simply to watch this episode if for no other reason, if you enjoy NYPD Law and Order CSI then go out and pick up this underrated show it lasted this long and aired fridays for most of its run it is truly impressive.
Saw II (2005)
Saw 2 well done
I have to admit that when Saw 2 was revealed I was a little unsure of whether it was rushed and just a cheap grab at money I am thankfully here to tell you that it is not. I just want to state that even though Saw had couple of notable actors like Monica Potter and Danny Glover the acting in Saw 2 is much superior to some of the terrible scenes we get in the original. The increase in screen time from Tobin Bell as jigsaw is a very high note for the movie and it starts off well with a great scene. Donnie Wahlberg comes in as the new cop convinced into taking the jigsaw case. While investigating a homicide it leads him to a new trap of the jigsaw killer involving his son being displayed on monitors.
The new situations the characters face in my mind are not as brutal as Saw 1 however one that involves a pool is interesting. I suggest the movie to those who are looking to improve on the original saw and any of those looking for a great ending and suspense.
Blade: Trinity (2004)
Blade Trinity mild spoiler no serious ones
Blade: Trinity The third and supposedly last Blade movie catches us up with the day walker Blade and his long time battle against vampires. However the vampires have two new enemies for Blade to fight negative media coverage and Dracula now known as drake. Blade is forced into helping a lonely band of vampire hunters calling themselves the night stalkers. Lead by Hannibal King ( Ryan Reynolds ) and Abigale Whistler (Jessica Biel ) both in good supporting roles especially the comic relief of Ryan Reynolds. These new vampire fighters must take on some new evil vamps played by Parker pose and WWE fighter HHH. Dominic Purcell plays the evil Drake and Wesley Snipes is a mean as ever as Blade. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie although most critics would not agree with me. I didn't think it was the strongest of the three however still well done. I actually hope this is in fact not the last Blade movie and that the series can have breath blown back into it.

The weaponry only improves the cinematics are excellent the game-play is awesome and the rag-doll effects have not been outdone. This game is hands down the best 3rd person shooter anywhere, along with its bullet time sequence and dream style with a great story that keeps you guessing Max Payne 2 is not a game any true gamer will want to miss.
