Street Fighter: Legacy (2010 Video)
9/10
A short film that does what the past full lengths couldn't......
14 September 2010
... and that's capture the spirit and style of STREET FIGHTER. The fighting stances, special moves, attention to detail on the costumes: Ryu's is weather beaten because he lives in that. They even had the signature bushy eyebrows illustrated by the game/animation artists. the synopsis shows us the rivalry respect that Ken and Ryu have for one another, which is a staple in the SF storyline. It even includes a cameo of Akuma(Gouki in Japan) via nightmare by Ryu. Only complaint that it's not feature length. If director Joey Ansah can get on ball with Capcom, we may finally have a SF movie done justice. If he ever film another SF, I hope it exceeds the quality of Legacy

Knight Rider: Knight Rider (2008)
Season 1, Episode 0
8/10
Great "pilot" episode
18 February 2008
Warning: Spoilers
Unlike "Bionic Woman" (2007), this is the true continuation of the original Knight Rider and brings the K.I.T.T. technology to the current times....Val Kilmer does a pretty good job as the new K.I.T.T. The car was pretty impressive and in this day and age they just don't leave you saying "how it does that?" The abilities of the vehicle are explained so there's no "huh" factor involved. Justin Bruening does fine as well as Mike Tracer a.k.a. Michael Knight Jr.. David Hasselhoff's cameo was a great fan service to the old school.

Some complained of all the Ford commercials, but I expected as much being that 500 GT Mustang is the star vehicle. This is the same product placement GMC had with Michael Bay's Transformers(2007). These companies pay a good nickel to do this and that goes a long way with the budget. So I hope they at least do more TV movies if the series is not picked up

Spider-Man 3 (2007)

Some of everything from the Spiderman comic series
5 May 2007
Writing from a fan standpoint, I went into the theater knowing that many of the plot standpoints would have to be changed for the sake of fitting a plethora of comic book history into 2 1/2 hours of what I thought was a great movie. They compacted quite a lot in a well manner. It was great to see Tobey Maguire portray Peter Parker like we've never seen him before. Topher Grace pulls off Brock/Venom surprisingly well. I have minor complaints about the story, well one, but I don't wanna spoil the film.I also thought the F/X were well done as usual but the fights/action weren't as solid as Spiderman 2, than again, this was the most story driven part of the trilogy. Overall, great film.

Hot movie, but see the original first!!!
29 January 2006
Warning: Spoilers
I enjoyed Evolution very much! But before you see this movie, make sure you rent the first and see why enjoy both the movies. It took the right steps into a sequel by having ample plot twists, more action and keeping the story moving at a good pace. Selene and Michael, our two protagonists do a good job of portraying heroes-on-the-run. But they aren't just escaping, they are trying to uncover the reason the war with vampires and werewolves has been raging for so many generations. What they find is a blood tie that changes the whole face of the war. Selene and Michael both find a their greater potentials and destiny as well, while slaying the fiercest foes along the way. For action fans and gore lovers only! If you don't like plenty of decapitations, impaling and amputations, stay away, LOL
