The Passion of the Christ (2004)
A masterpiece
Hard, wild, shocking, raw, deep, this movie penetrates the hardest hearts of people and brings us closer to all the suffering that Jesus endured, but also brings us closer to his teachings, his humility, his love, his word , his faith, to God. God forgive me for all that Jesus Christ endured for our sins.
The Batman (2022)
Good approach with a new approach
I give it 8 stars for the new approach of telling us the story of batman again from a new perspective, a young batman, excellent villains, memorable characters, good situations, and what I love the most is seeing a detective atmosphere, sinister but fresh. They must have delved into that section of dark detective, funeral, dark, outside with better results.
It is a very good movie, however it lacked an essence that would mark that this would be a masterpiece, it lacked a lot, a lot to rise to its previous movies, but it's fine.
Hauru no ugoku shiro (2004)
the delight of art
Beautiful film that will catch us from the beginning with its image, finished. Visually it is a masterpiece of animation, beautiful aisejas, very remarkable characters, perfect story and that magic that studio ghibli must carry. One hundred percent recommended for all ages.
Taxi Driver (1976)
A journey to the center of madness and chaos
It can seem violent, it can be guilty of showing reality for what it is, it can have crazy moments taken to extremes. But that's why it's a classic of the classics. It is life itself without makeup, without wigs or banners of beauty, no. This is the world.
Back to the Future (1985)
The most amazing time travel of all
Genius made into a movie in all its senses, to be classic so to speak, it does not require very real special effects because it does not, a spectacular script, memorable characters, well-shot sets, a story never seen back then, and a trilogy that will will leave you waiting more and more.
I recommend it yes or yes, it is one of those works that we will never see again.
La vita è bella (1997)
There are times when it is better to avoid showing the horror of the world to children.
I have no words to express my gratitude, with such a beautiful movie. I fell short in my words the truth, because everything in this movie is pure art, it is life itself, its pros and cons. And of course, the vile face of the damned wars, that the only thing that has left us has been death and more death.
But despite this, an adult, a human, someone like you, like me, avoids at all costs that little boy, see the horror of the world.
And that is a beautiful message for all of us, that a person gave even his life to save the innocence of that child who did not understand what was happening at that time.
For me, just for gesture, fact, reality, sacrifice, it is always worth seeing this movie.
The Pianist (2002)
When life is a terrible and beautiful reality.
A real, cruel and ruthless face of humanity. A story that marks you to the surface and will hit you without fear, a round vision of what is called war, death and life.
This movie is a vivid reflection of what we can not be again as rational humans. His real story is so moving and at the same time sad, that there we see what an artist or ordinary person had to face in the midst of ruthless war.
Like him, many other stories were silenced by the bullets and massacres that those "superior" beings, in their delirium or anger, exercised.
Beautiful, sad, but real.
Gladiator (2000)
When a slave exceeds its limits.
Maximo is the reflection of a simple person who overcomes his fears to their limits for a cause and an ideal that leads him to his unfortunate destiny and revenge. Great story well told, well developed scenes, very well chosen actors, script of more than five stars, good effects.
Forrest Gump (1994)
One of those movies to never forget
Forrest Gump, a beautiful film in its context. Love or heartbreak, life lessons, accounts or anecdotes. However you want to take it, it is one of those magical movies that you have to see yes or yes. Life is a box of chocolates.
Majo no takkyûbin (1989)
A charming witch who will surprise us on her adventures
One of my favorite movies of my childhood, it overflows with charm, magic wherever you look. Its animation is spectacular, and its story, although a little confusing, delights us and invites us to a unique world that Studio Ghibli can give us.
The Pursuit of Happyness (2006)
A gem of a movie.
There is nothing better than a movie showing us the reality of the century in which we live, it helps us improve ourselves, to follow our goals, reflecting how hard life can be. Nothing is impossible, you have to follow your dreams and never stop.
The Matrix Resurrections (2021)
For the Fans, it is better to believe from now on that this movie does not exist.
The directors, writers and producers could have done something decent, respectable, but they were wrong about everything.
Bad execution, bad effects, bad plot, very poor camera effects compared to its predecessors. And the script is the most incorrect, disastrous of all. It leaves many plot holes such as "Since when Trinity has so many abilities that Neo, when in their first three installments they don't talk or mention it". And this is just one of its many weak points.
It cannot be claimed that being or trying to make a comic satire of his previous films can be accepted, on the contrary. They should have taken advantage of these almost 20 years to do a better job but they wasted it.
