Rapunzel and her friends run into Hook Hand (Brad Garrett reprising his role), who is touring the land, living his dream as a pianist. Those who have seen Tangled would be shocked to learn that Hook Hand is a hypocrite. Playing the piano was always his dream, but he laughed at Hook Foot's dream of dancing (and in 1837 Paralympians weren't a thing). Hook Hand pads out the episode with an ego-stroking song and I appreciate the little callbacks to 'Tangled', such as Eugene being hung up like a coat and Hook Hand's harried valet playing the accordion. There could have been a little more focus on Hook Hand's redemption, some explanation as to why he thinks dancing is dumb, even after seeing Eugene and Attila dancing and some back story into his relationship with his brother.
That said, Hook Hand does give a very sweet public apology and when he actually sees his brother's dancing, he's impressed and proud.
Hook Hand now has this ugly-cute design.
I love how Rapunzel switches between adoration for the seal wedding and anger at the abusive and mincing King Trevor.
