Best episode of Dynasty 2017
emjulian25 March 2019
Love the way Adam is introduced in this episode as a real Carrington after meeting him in the final scene of previous episode. Original Adam was sick and evil in the 80's Dynasty, but this Adam is worse, a dangerous cobra, thirsty for revenge! The flashback scenes form his past in Billings are a great hommage to Adam/Michael classic origin story. And finally, the final scene, Nicolette Sheridan's Alexis exit it's shocking, even cruel, but it's a great dramatic cliffhanger and the perfect way to justify the recast of the character with another actress. After so many episodes thinking the CW Dynasty was a bad sitcom about the rich and being a real fan of the classic Dynasty since 1982, I LOVE the turning point that started with episode 2x13 and somehow the old publicity tag: It's not just drama it's DYNASTY, sounds great again with this new one!

Dynasty: Motherly Overprotectiveness

Warning: Spoilers
It was great to see Adam come home and stir up some drama, although I already despise him and can see that he's quite a snake. It was disappointing and disheartening to see him throw Alexis into the fireplace, and kind of a disgusting way to justify having Alexis be recast. Otherwise, it was an overall interesting episode with a lot of family drama and plot twists. It was also great to see Cristal reuniting with her "mafia ties" family from Venezuela, and I'm sure there's going to be a lot of drama surrounding that in the future.

Honestly

It's all worth it for that ending. Finally a character gets their justice while introducing another dangerous threat that not only the characters, but the fans should dread.

Motherly Overprotectiveness (#2.15)

Warning: Spoilers
Disappointing. What happened to Alexis was a bit too disgusting for a soap opera. Which is sad because I also liked the character. She was not a very nice person but she was portrayed as a very charming evil who is interesting to watch and one can even root for once in a while. So what are they doing writing off characters that one wants to watch. First Cristal, then Steven then Alexis? So what do we have left. I dislike the new Cristal, her character has nothing in it for me. Liking Adam after he killed the woman who raised him and two of the characters I like makes him a character I want to see being caught and killed as soon as possible. Would be nice if they could figure out what he did to Steve and punish him for it. Would be kind of nice, a true blood Carrington killed for the son who was not Blake's. Hope they think of going with that. Then we have Kirby who is still a bore. Blake who also became somehow boring after the first season. I guess the only ones I still want to see are Fallon (funny because I didn't like her in the first 2 episodes) and Sammy Jo. Jeff is also not bad although I sure want to see him defeat Cristal. Well, I don't know where this all is going. I hope they don't kill off the rest of good characters and replace the annoying ones with somebody worth watching.

What was the story again
sabinelamine26 March 2019
Warning: Spoilers
In the span of one season and a half they have managed to change half of the main cast, introduce new characters and new stories all the while leaving the old ones unanswered. Steven was just written off casually, Hank was never heard from again, Liam just disappeared and now this new Adam comes into play. While we were expecting this day to come at some point, everything is just happening so quickly. The most important part, however, is the way they wrote off Nicollette Sheridan, its just outrageous. Although its just a tactic designed to hire a replacement in order to keep the character of Alexis, it raises questions as to why are the show's main actors all getting fired/quitting? If the show continues on this path, many viewers will soon lose interest.

Drama in all the wrong places.
ellicemyka23 March 2019
Nobody cares about Adam, Alexis should've been discovered before something like that happened to her. People want Liam, not Adam. So much drama in places fans and viewers don't care about. Done with the shoooww. πŸ‘ŽπŸΌπŸ‘ŽπŸΌπŸ‘ŽπŸΌ
