This episode was stellar as it is all part of an analogy to the feelings that american voters in real life have towards the constant publicity and attempt to brainwash from politicians.

What a nosedive

Seldom have I felt that a show that started with such promise could nosedive in such a way. I understand this episode is supposed to be some kind of allegory for the real life voter, but the show is failing to live up to its initial premise, which it set up as being about River's suicide. Where is the backstory to that? Really disappointed in the direction this has gone.
