Not much happens

Not much really happens in this episode. Somewhat fillery but not bad. To be expected from episode 3 of an 8 part series. Marie is still a very enjoyable character.

Moving forward with the plot, not too much to say

Warning: Spoilers
This is a basic investigation episode, not a lot to say. I hate the acting of the white girl's bf. I also hated the whole image enhancing scene. But I liked that they suspect a cop and the story thickens. The episode feels like it's going nowhere but I guess that's because the investigation is going nowhere. Until the end :)

Inacreditável (2019)

1st Season

Episode Three - Episódio Três

The dynamic between Duvall and Toni Collette's character is wonderful, I thought Collette won the Emmy for this role in this miniseries but I did some research and she didn't win, but she did really well in this character.

People suspecting Duvall's husband, but it doesn't make any sense because he was the one who said that her case had similarities to the case of Collette's character.

This black lady's case was identical to Marie's, there was no evidence and at no point did the investigator suspect it was a lie.

The series flows very well, perhaps if it were just claustrophobic like the first episode it wouldn't be as enjoyable for me to watch, but this dynamic, which is very similar to the dynamics of Morgan Freeman and Brad Pitt's characters in the film Se7en, is very interesting to follow.

Episode three of the first season of the Inacreditável Miniseries watched on May 2, 2024.

Rating: 10/10.

Awesome

Warning: Spoilers
Continuing my marathon and what an incredible episode. The interaction between Coleen and Toni Collette's character is very reminiscent of Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman, respectively, in Se7en. Colleen is more optimistic, perhaps less experienced, new city (since now, she will work at Collette's police station). While Collette's character tends to be more pessimistic because she is more experienced and has seen a lot more things. I really liked the lady investigator and her intern, they are hilarious. It's incredible how they always manage to sink Marie even further, all because of the adoptive mothers, the police officers who believed in the mothers and obviously the biggest culprit, the rapist himself. It's incredible how this criminal doesn't have a type for women. It can be white, black, new, old. Scary. Episode three watched on March 12, 2024.
