Another strong episode featuring the feuding and battles in family and business.

Billy Howle plays the stroke victim very well and Niamh Algar portrays the softer feminine character very differently to the independent women she generally plays.

The show is finally warming up.

There is a general election looming. Writer Tom Rob Smith does not label which political parties Angela Howard and Jahan Zakari represent.

Max plans to switch allegiance from Zakari. Yet the idealistic Howard seems to have a darker side in her Utopian work site. Max's assistant understands this.

Max's decision angers Zakari, then again Max also expected this.

It is all about control and pushing the right buttons.

Caden knows this. He demonstrates to his mother that he knows everything about her, the people she has relationships with. He tells the dirty tricks of the media empire that Max created.

When both demand to see Max, Caden tells his mother a different person will show up, not the Max she knows.

The writer has taken his time to reveal the layers of real Max. We can get a sense of it now happening. It reflects the real media moguls that exist today. No longer looking for right and wrong, just propaganda.
