Playing the rich and witty character really works well in the story and I feel as if his cockiness will soon result in a demise. I wish we got to hear what was said at the border for it felt like plot armor.

Interesting but too cliche
Boris-Sh17 September 2019
The story is interesting. The acting is fine.
The settings are great and feel authentic from the 60's in the Middle East region.
But the story is too rushed and thus becomes cliche.
Unlike other Netflix series, there is not enough build up for the characters and events, things just move forward too quickly, so the plot feels too unreal and artificial.
But there are some very touching moments, like the eating of the butter sandwich scene, when we see the Eli and Nadya miss each other or when Dan remembers the previous agent he worked with.
Worth watching.

Warning: Spoilers
This was a little slow at times and yet you barely feel like you spent any time watching this when the episode is over. That was the case for the first two episodes too.
This show is similar to Homeland in ways, yet its simplistic nature does favors whereas its Showtime counterpart is complicated for complexity sake.
Hope the next three episodes wrap things up nicely.
