Noel Clarke and Ashley Walters have teamed up for a British version of Bad Boys.
Bishop (Clarke) and Pike (Walters) are two hardened cops who see their informant being run over and find out that she knew too much about a Serbian car theft ring.
There is a lot of banter, wisecracks, car chases. It wants to be a formulaic US cop show such as the Lethal Weapon television series.
It was decent enough but the writing was not too strong. Tonally it was all over the place.
The opening episode did not get the balance right between action and comedy. Some of the bickering was uninspired.
