This was a really strong pilot. This is going to be a polarizing show. I thought the opening was too long and didn't have to be that lengthy to get across the message they were hoping. If you don't like Fred Armisen this will bother you, but the show did a good job balancing his weirdness.
This is the kind of show that is working right now. Not heavy on action, but instead focuses on smart dialogue and real world struggles that viewers can relate to. I look forward to the rest of the season.
