Finally a good episode

What happens in this episode is a staple of medical dramas, but for once it was played without too much sentimentality, as seen through the eyes of Murphy.

Praise to the actor playing Murphy, he did an excellent job not showing the emotions felt by his character, but at the same time managing perfectly well to convey his state of sadness, despair and confusion.

Warning: Spoilers
(S1. E18) My Live Reaction / Review for The Good Doctor Season 1 Episode 18 ''More''. The previous episode was good and I gave it a rating of 8.5/10. Let's see if this one is better or worse. Dr. Glassman has cancer? That sucks. Shaun lost the little toy that he has with him all the time, that's not good. If Dr. Glassman dies the show wont be the same without him, I hope a miracle will happen and he will live. Dr. Glassman has only 3 to 4 months to live? That's awful news! Shaun cant accept the reality about Dr. Glassman's health. I feel bad for both of them. Shaun really loves Dr. Glassman, he cares deeply. It's a lovely father-son type of relationship. Did Shaun really make a mistake during surgery? That sucks. At least they were able to fix Shaun's mistake. There is still hope for Dr. Glassman, really emotional moments. Overall this episode was good and I enjoyed it. My rating is 9/10.

Warning: Spoilers
This wasn't exactly what we were looking for in a season finale. The best part was probably hearing Shaun and Aaron tell each other "I love you" and seeing a bit of Aaron's past. There really wasn't much else worth mentioning in this half-baked episode. Very disappointing.

This show peaked WAY too soon. The first half of the season was excellent, but it has quickly fallen on its face. The second half was filled with uninteresting stories and felt inconsistent with the first half, as Shaun lost much of the progress he previously made and we no longer got to see the flashbacks with his brother. The way the show started, it seemed that that was going to be a routine feature of the show...but now what? Dropped storyline?

The most intense, gripping season finales usually involve a main character being in trouble. While Aaron's health is decreasing, NOTHING happened other than addressing it. Instead, the finale focused on characters that you only meet at the start of the episode and whose fate you are expected to care about. Plain disappointing. I am not sure if I will be watching season 2.
