With that title on my review, I would have to say that "Voices" is not near as good like the previous episode "Burden of proof", which was great, but is still kind of watchable. Understand the people, who like it more than me, but I didn't love this one.
Let's start with good.
. The story here is interesting at times with very good acting (mostly from Laura Regan, who was a standout), couple of pretty good ideas (involving the solution, some neat twists) and a cameo from Mike Franks that I did not expect. "Voices" is an entertaining watch as well- always love to see Delilah and Mcgee.
But...
. The story did get quite convoluted and messy after an okay set up. My biggest issue lies with the whole second sight and mysticism surrounding the murder mystery, which made the narrative very jumbled for me and gave the episode an opportunity to drag.
Overall, another okay watch.
5/10 HK
