Renko's son Daniel attacks a jogger believing him to be his father and the one who raped his mother. The security services and Hicks had laid a path for Daniel to this man's door believing that Renko might have left the flash drive with his son.
While Daniel is being tracked who is hiding out in a drug's den, Renko needs to get to her son before the security services do further harm to him. Hicks under pressure by the security services, with little love lost with Renko who after all is investigating him for the death of his partner has an attack of the conscience and decides to help out Renko and Daniel when Morrigan the evil MI5 woman corners them.
It is a flip flop relationship that I reckon will have little pay off. You have anti heroes that you find difficult to root for.
