Here we have the music video for the song "Booty" by Jennifer Lopez. And not just her. There is a version out there that features Iggy Azalea, but this one here has both Azalea and Pitbull attached and to make things even more confusing I think there are several music videos as in one he is seen more frequently than in the other. But the song is identical and he is heard a lot in both. So three artists for a music video and song comfortably under 4 minutes is quite a lot if they don't sing together. And of course they don't here. The man behind the camera is very prolific music video director Emil Nava and looking at how many videos he worked on already back in 2014 when this was made, the outcome is pretty underwhelming. Then again, the visual side is still better than the audio, not that that would be a challenge admittedly, it's just not as horrible as what you hear and with that I do not mean the booties, or not exclusively. Lopez still looks amazing, for her age and in general. She was 45 when this came out. Well it wasnot a total flop, but also far from a hit in the end. So it was definitely more successful than it should have been. I honestly cannot imagine why anybody above the age of 25, 21 actually, would buy this song. It was absolutely horrible and I am the opposite of a gender equality advocate, but this one here as so classless and unspired that it would seem like the ultimate hypocrisy if anybody working on this project, Lopez. Azalea or Pitbull or actually also eveybody behind the camera ever thought about posing as an advocate for equality between sexes. Huge thumbs-down. Glad it was this short. It's a mess.
