Director/star Austin Stevenson unfortunately passed away a couple of years after this movie debuted, but his feature-length thriller lives on as a freebie from IMDb and YouTube.
Stevenson, who projects a presence on-screen not unlike David Duchovny, has some interesting ideas here, regarding monomania and a conspiratorial theory way of thinking, but as a thriller it fails to sustain suspense and deliver satisfying (rather than arbitrary) story outcomes. As a fledgling work there are still some original moments.
Title refers to a centuries-old Welsh tradition, and is weaved into the story line well. Directing himself in the lead role at times is self-indulgent resulting in an unsubtle unfolding of the movie's melodramatic content, and the interplay between him and the other two leading characters is not believable, merely functional in leading to a contrived climax.
So we have a promising talent in his 20s, cut short before possibly being discovered beyond a niche fan base.
