Congratulations and thanks to Sarah Phelps, for once again helping to deliver some Agatha Christie magic, I applaud her for putting her own slant on Christie's great text, it's so wonderfully different to the great Dietrich film.
The cinematography is fabulous, it looks so beautiful, once the trial is completed, the contrast is so vast to the first part, which had been so dark and grim, but of course the shocking twist awaits. I love the way the revelation is done, Toby Jones proves his worth with a look of terror and shock.
The acting was terrific, Riseborough again showing her class, and versatility as an actress. Everyone played their part.
I wasn't as captivated in this part, as I was in the first, but I still thoroughly enjoyed it. 8/10
