Decent

I thought this short was decent for what it was. Ignore the hateful review - it's only a short time of your life to spend on this one!

Not a particularly deep movie by any means

Warning: Spoilers
"The Formless Depths" is an American 7.5-minute live action short film from 2016, although I am not sure if it isn't slightly older already. Anyway, it is among the more known works by writer and director John Byron Hanby IV from his highly prolific recent years. I personally liked the narrator in the first half, but that's pretty much the only positive aspect I can list here. Visuals (i.e. visual side) and the music did almost nothing for me. Same applies for the story if there is something remotely resembling a plot in here éven. Well overall, the somewhat strange rating (composition) for this film here on IMDb is nothing I can agree with at all. I have zero interest in seeing this one again and once may be one time too many already. I give it a thumbs-down. Don't watch.
