Midnight, Texas is a refreshing take on the supernatural genre, whilst some shows may take themselves seriously there are humorous undertones. The pilot provides a high level overview of some of the main characters but you are left with the feeling there is so much more to find out. This is a must a watch series for fans of Grimm and True Blood.

This was a good pilot episode, even though the entire premise of the show is stolen from other shows. Unfortunately I watched all four episodes today and I know it doesn't stay good for very long. It's a typical summer show, they never last. Even when they are good. Don't get too into this show, it will be gone soon.
