Despite commentators mostly ignoring the moves happening in the ring. Jerry Lynn vs Kevin Krueger proved to be a decent amount of technical wrestling holds in a back and forth match that saw Krueger score a two count by rolling lynn up around 3 and a half minutes into the match. however Jerry Lynn did counter a would be spine buster by Kreuger into a tornado DDT only seconds later thus scoring a pin fall. Jerry Lynn retains his light heavyweight title in a match that should have been booked to go more then four or five minutes
