I think this a great departure from acting for her and she has aged well, matured into a mother and independent woman. She and her twin sister are WONDERFUL role models for young girls. I think they should be celebrated more for making a healthy transition from child actors to responsible and hard-working adults in Hollywood.
The show is very family oriented and I appreciate her sharing a lot of her personal stories with the cooking. It really helps the viewer connect. I loved when her growing son appeared on the show because it really showcased their mother/son connection and also gave us a chance to see how little Cree is growing up.
I hope this show is renewed for seasons to come because she has worked hard to bring us a very well formatted and quality home chef cooking show.
