Sex & Nudity

  • Contains only infrequent discussion of how topics of a sexual nature on Neighbours had to be handled with restraint over the decades. Reference is made to a stripper character, however, she is only briefly depicted in a tight-fitting outfit and does not actually remove any of her clothing. There is also very mild nudity when a man's towel is caught in a door, and he is forced to escape in the nude. Only his bare buttocks are briefly visible.

Violence & Gore

  • Contains brief scenes of violence via archive footage from the television series Neighbours, including a particularly forceful (and real) slap to a man's face by a hysterical woman upon learning of his infidelity. A woman is depicted with some blood on her abdomen (after being shot off-screen) after her bereaved husband finds her lifeless body.

Profanity

  • Contains only infrequent very mild language, including a single use of "bastard" in a comic context.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • References are made to bars, and there may be incidental depiction of alcohol consumption, however, it is entirely inconsequential to the work.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Some archival scenes can be considered to be quite intense, including scenes of bereavement and a brief scene of aeroplane turbulence, however, the impact of such scenes is mitigated by the overall light-hearted tone of the documentary, and the fact that the scenes are shown out of context. There is also brief discussion of classification limitations regarding the topic of teenage pregnancy involving three young women.
