This film featuring ten pieces of contemporary and classical music is attempting to educate and entertain the viewers/listeners to appreciate and enjoy music. My main complaint is that at certain times the commentary is obscuring what we are meant to hear. I found this particularly annoying for a piece by John Adams and another called Storm. Maybe the makers could have used the dramatic pieces as lead ins to the music instead of being superimposed over the music. All that said it is great that someone is helping to widen the public's appreciation of good music rather than an endless stream of auto-tuned, less than talented modern singers who seem to make up almost the only kind of music on offer through media outlets these days. I am a rock fan but am open to other kinds of music. Perhaps films like this will help.
