SHOCKWAVE: THE MOVIE is yet another slice of indie trash from director Manny Velazquez, possibly the worst director working in the indie genre today. His film consists almost entirely of a guy hanging around in his house, doing chores in the bathroom, and occasionally checking his smartphone. In order to pad out the running time still further, a woman also does the same stuff. At the climax there's a laughable attempt at a gore scene, and the whole thing is appallingly bad.
