The show opens with Mankind cutting his first promo as WWF Champion. The first match is Owen Hart and Jeff Jarrett versus the New Age Outlaws for the #1 contendership for the tag team championship. Gillberg makes his debut against Luna Vachon. Val Venis is supposed to have a match, but it doesn't happen because Ken Shamrock attacks Val for flirting with Ken's sister. X-Pac defends the European Championship against Al Snow. Mankind defends the WWF Championship against Kane. Triple H faces Edge. We see a segment where the Undertaker converts Dennis Knight into Mideon. We see a segment with PMS and D-Lo Brown and Mark Henry and Chyna and Sammy, about which the less said, the better. We see another Vince McMahon training video. The main event event is all the members of D-Generation X and the Corporation competing in the first ever Corporate Royal for the 30th slot in the actual Royal Rumble.
