Vince McMahon comes out and declares it "Stone Cold" Steve Austin Tribute Day and says that he will announce who the new WWF Champion is later tonight. The first match is the New Age Outlaws defending the Tag Team Championship against Southern Justice. Dan Severn takes on Owen Hart in a submission match. Vader takes on Al Snow. Next is a six way match with Edge versus Gangrel versus D-Lo Brown versus Jeff Jarrett versus Droz versus Marc Mero for the #1 contendership for the European Championship. Vince McMahon comes back to the ring to announce who the WWF Champion is, but for reasons that I won't spoil, it doesn't happen. Faarooq faces Marc Mero with special referee Chyna. We see another Steven Regal vignette. The Headbangers face the Oddities. X-Pac defends the European Championship against Val Venis. Kane and the Undertaker face Ken Shamrock, the Rock and Mankind in the main event.
