In this post Columbine (April 20,1999) and now a post Las Vegas massacre (Sunday, October 1, 2017) by Stephen Paddock, which left at least 59 people dead and more than 520 injured, has U.S. culture finally reached its pinnacle? Has the title "deadliest mass shooting in modern American history" finally topped out? Paloma Lommel's The Schoolboy brilliantly provides a glimpse of the emotional aftermath experienced by a surviving teacher of a classroom massacre. Both principle actors were excellent. I just loved Charlie Heaton's performance. I strongly recommend this short, but vividly meaningful film for everyone interested in the topic.
