Sometimes in order to do a lot of bad, you have to do a little good. That’s the premise behind “The Bad Guys” upcoming holiday special, “The Bad Guys: A Very Bad Holiday.” The 22-minute installment will land on Netflix November 30.
Set prior to the events of the 2022 movie, the special follows the Bad Guys just ahead of their favorite day of the year: Christmas morning. While everyone’s opening presents, it’s the perfect time for a city-wide holiday heist. But that can’t happen when Christmas is unexpectedly cancelled. Faced with the possibility of potentially not committing mass crimes, this crew of baddies has to do the unthinkable and save Christmas by becoming stand-in Santas.
“Let’s go do some good so we can be bad,” Wolf (Michael Godere) says in the trailer.

Most of the world knows Mark Hamill by sight. He played Luke Skywalker in the "Star Wars" franchise, an acting gig that has spanned over four decades. You might even have an action figure of him in your house right now. In addition, Hamill has slayed audiences with his voice work as the Joker in Batman TV shows, animated projects, and video games since 1992. Hamill's voice work (including his insanely accurate impression of "Star Wars" co-star Harrison Ford) is incredible, and while he won a Daytime Emmy for his role in "Elena of Avalor," he was never even nominated for the Joker. That's a crime, and it's unlikely to happen now that his Batman counterpart Kevin Conroy has died.
One job he did get a Daytime Emmy nomination for was voicing Darth Bane in season 6, episode 13 of the animated series "Star Wars: The Clone Wars," entitled "Sacrifice." However, according to...

Cannes — DreamWorks Animation Television caught the streaming wave early and has built a bustling studio thanks to the high demand for kid-centric programs from Netflix, Amazon and Hulu.

Dwa Television had all of five employees at the time the company signed a mammoth multi-series deal with Netflix in 2013, Cohn said. Today it employs about 800 people. Getting the company up to speed quickly forced Cohn and her team to consider everything they liked and didn’t like about the production experience in the past.

Andy Richter was up for a Daytime Emmy this year: Best Performer in an Animated Program for voicing Mort, Grammy Mort, and Smart Mort in “All Hail King Julien: Exiled.” But at the Creative Arts Awards on Friday night, April 27, he lost to Tom Kenny for playing the title role in the long-running Nickelodeon series “SpongeBob SquarePants.” Richter didn’t mind, though. In fact, when he found out that that was Kenny’s very first Emmy nomination and win, he tweeted, “Wtf, academy? Tom is a genius and he should have won at least 10 by now.”

If you thought the Fast and Furious franchise couldn’t go anywhere else, you were wrong. With the Comcast-NBCUniversal acquisition of Dreamworks, Dreamworks Animation Television have been given the green light to adapt the franchise for an animated series for Netflix.
The story will follow Tony Toretto, Dom (Vin Diesel)’s teenage cousin, as he and his friends are recruited by the government to infiltrate an elite racing league that is a front for a criminal organisation bent on world domination.
The series is currently in development, so it won’t be hitting the streaming service for a while; certainly not before the Hobbs and Shaw spin-off starring Jason Statham and Dwayne Johnson which is due for release in July 2019.

Netflix has announced that they will be producing a Fast & Furious animated series that will be developed by DreamWorks Animation Television. Out of all of the animated series that could have been announced, I wasn't expecting this!
The series will center around Tony Toretto, and he will follow "in the footsteps of his cousin Dom when he and his friends are recruited by a government agency to infiltrate an elite racing league serving as a front for a nefarious crime organization bent on world domination."
It sounds like it could be fun. Netflix has actually put out some decent animated content, so I'll be hoping for the best. The series will be produced by Tim Hedrick, who wrote for DreamWorks’ Voltron: Legendary Defender series, and Bret Haaland, who has produced DreamWorks’ animated shows like All Hail King Julien and The Penguins of Madagascar. They will also both serve as showrunners.

October on Netflix brings "Beasts of No Nation," starring Idris Elba as a ruthless African warlord who trains child soldiers. Directed by Cary Fukunaga ("True Detective"), it debuts on Netflix and in theaters on October 16.
While a lot of great horror movies are leaving Netflix in October, some new ones are coming exclusively to the platform: "Manson Family Vacation," (starring Jay Duplass as a guy whose brother is obsessed with Charles Manson) and "Circle," in which 50 strangers are held captive and must choose which one of them will live. We're also excited for "The Nightmare," the buzzy documentary about sleep terrors from the directors of "Room 237."
And if you want more horror, there are new seasons coming to Netflix, including "iZombie," "The Vampire Diaries," "Supernatural," "Hemlock Grove," and "American Horror Story: Freak Show."
Available Oct. 1
"Million Dollar Baby"(2004)

Netflix is reuniting Ashton Kutcher and Danny Masterson for a new show. The two That ‘70s Show co-stars are set to appear in 20 episodes of the original comedy series The Ranch.
Created by Two and a Half Men’s Don Reo and Jim Patterson, The Ranch will star Kutcher as an ex-football player who returns to his family’s Colorado ranch to help run it with his brother, played by Masterson. The co-stars will also produce The Ranch, with Reo and Jim Patterson executive producing.
Netflix is taking a different release approach to The Ranch. According to Deadline, who originally broke the story, the streaming platform will release ten episodes of The Ranch at a time in two batches over the course of a year. Netflix typically releases all episodes of a show at the same time once a year. However, the subscription service has previously toyed with different release...

Netflix already has a formidable line-up of exclusive content ready to unleash when it launches in Australia and New Zealand on March 24- and more is it come. The third series of Orange is the New Black, a Netflix production, will screen on the subscription VOD service after it premieres on Foxtel.s showcase in June. Moreover, the Us streaming giant is working on deals with MGM and Warner Bros which would mean their first-run movies will debut on Netflix at the same time as their pay-tv premieres on Foxtel Movies.
Neither has been signed but If understands the MGM arrangement is in final negotiations and WB is highly likely to pact with Netflix as its output deal with the Nine Network, worth a reported $150 million a year, has expired, and the studio needs to generate more revenue from its pay-tv and free-tv deals.

We all know that the best part of the Madagascar films is King Julien, and now he is finally getting the chance to take center stage as his own series hits on Netflix. All Hail King Julien, which apparently takes place before the events of the films, is just centered on life in King Julien’s court, and the wild antics that must take place there.
Along with the familiar voices you know, there are plenty of new characters joining the show, including Henry Winkler as King Julien’s predecessor… Uncle King Julien.
This one is going to kick off with the first five episodes, with more on the way, and it is going to be a lot of fun.

Netflix loves breaking entertainment industry standards, even its own. The streaming video-on-demand service announced it will release the first five episodes of DreamWorks Animation’s (Dwa) All Hail King Julien on December 19, 2014, with additional episodes released in 2015. The staggered release differs from Netflix’s typical practice of producing original programming and debuting it all in one binge-watchable fell swoop. However, Netflix and Dwa have noted animation takes longer to create, so subsequent release dates for new material is simply part of the equation. The two companies previously released Turbo Fast in the same manner. All Hail King Julien will center around the popular lemur from Dwa’s Madagascar franchise, and feature the voice talents of Henry Winkler, Danny Jacobs, Andy Richter, Kevin Michael Richardson, and India de Beaufort. The series will be available to Netflix subscribers in most parts of the world covered by the agreement Dwa and Netflix made...
