THE DROWNED is a micro budget indie horror flick that seems to be an unacknowledged homage/rip off of the cult '70s ghost story LET'S SCARE JESSICA TO DEATH. The plot-free narrative involves a young woman inheriting a home in the countryside. The whole film involves her wandering around said house and the locality with a single expression of confusion on her face throughout. She looks at stuff, we see her looking at stuff, that kind of thing. Eventually she discovers that there are a few ghosts coming from the local lake. Said events certainly aren't worth sitting through this very slow film for.
