This show just keeps getting better! Season 3 of Teen Wolf so far is some of the best TV i've watched and that includes Walking Dead and Game of Thrones.
So, let's start with the beginning of the episode and the reappearance of Deaton. First off, Deaton is brilliant. The first 5 minutes offers an insight into the name of the episode and the mysterious scene when Alison's dad is younger with the creepy Chinese blokes. The weed, Letharia Vulpira grows for the blood of a nugitsune and is poisonous to foxes and wolves, which in turn make it poisonous to Scott, Stiles and Kira, who really begins to explore her powers in this episode and is kind of bad ass. There is a sub-plot with Peter, Lydia and Alison(tbh I don't know what purpose Alison is serving at the moment) which involves Peter finding out he is a dad to an unknown child, later revealed a Malia( the girl who was the werekiote) and him trying to teach Lydia to use her powers properly. It is an interesting diversion but utterly unimportant in the context of the episode. Then there is Kira's mum and dad, as if they weren't shrouded in mystery enough! Kira's mum appears to be in control of the Oni and creates more by breaking the swords of the ones who have been sacrificed so more fireflies come out of the Nematon. I'm not too sure want Kira's dad is or has to with the whole thing but i'm sure it will be revealed in later episodes. Now we get to the main man in the episode, Stiles, or evil Stiles controlled by a dark, psychotic fox being hunted by Japanese demons. That guy. He's aware that he's doing terrible things but doesn't know how or what these things are. So this involves Scott and the twins figuring out what is going to happen next all while a helpless Stiles struggles to battle what's inside him. A frantic chase through the woods ends with the coach being shot with an arrow, a mystery involving a shrapnel bomb on the school bus and a bomb in Sheriff Stilinski's office which eventually goes office. All of this leads to evil Stiles trying to kill his best friend following a great find with the Oni with Kira coming out of her shell(FINALLY). Stiles tells Scott that he feeds off chaos and pain and all the time, Scott has been taking the pain away from Stiles' victims with his crazy pain healing power. So he takes this pain from Scott, and just when you think Scott is in some serious trouble, in comes Deaton. He injects Stiles with the weed and poisons the fox inside him.
It was an amazing episode and one which this show consistently keeps banging out. Here's hoping that the remaining 5 episodes are some to remember.
