So proud
jleibel29 March 2024
Warning: Spoilers
I love that station 19 did a pride episode. I liked Travis talking with his dad at the end. Bailey help out carina we all knew she did nothing wrong. Little pru so cute Andy calling her little miller I loved it. Mary mint from ru Paul's drag race was awesome. It's sad that riots happen at parades I never experienced it but that would be terrifying. I love marinas new house can't wait to see them in it with Liam. I really hope they still do ivf and seeing Jack as uncle Jack. This show means so much to millions of fans i truly believe we will save it. Excited to see stefanias episode next week. #savestation19 #station19.

Amazing

Warning: Spoilers
Amazing ! Danielle Savre is, as always, showing her great acting talent ! I love the Carina/Bailey friendship. Can't wait to see, hopefully, the Maya/Mason confrontation in the next episodes. And I can't wait to watch the next episode directed by the awesome Stefania Spampinato. Hopefully we will #SaveStation19 and have some more episodes directed by Danielle and Stefania ! By the way if you are reading this and haven't done it yet, please sign the petition to save the show.

Don't stop sharing it and let everyone know that we want this show renewed !

Also, stream #Station19 on Hulu !

NINETEEN !!

"Diving Deep: A Look Inside Station 19's 'True Colors' Episode
lshindle30 March 2024
Warning: Spoilers
"True Colors," the third episode of Season 7 of This #Station19, beautifully centers around gay pride and the challenges faced by the LGBTQ+ community. Set against the backdrop of a pride parade, the episode explores themes of acceptance, equality, inherited shame and standing up against discrimination. As the parade unfolds, tensions rise with the presence of protesters, adding an extra layer of complexity to the celebration. The episode expertly navigates the intersection of personal and political, highlighting the importance of solidarity and resilience in the face of adversity.

The cast delivers powerful performances that resonate with authenticity and sincerity, drawing viewers into the emotional journey of the characters. Their portrayal of love, courage, and defiance against bigotry is both inspiring and heartwarming.

They failed to capture the importance of their main married wlw couple in this episode that focused on gay marriage. Though Carina & Maya had standout moments on their own. Their scenes together were once again without dialogue. We know this is a large ensemble cast & with only 10E it's a challenge to fit complete story arch's, but it's been 3 episodes of only 30 second dialogue between a couple who has had major life decisions like moving houses, adopting a baby & starting IVF. This episode needed some dialogue and deserved some and that would have just gone a long way to fleshing out their arc that is so desperately needed this far into the season.

Overall, "True Colors" is a poignant and timely reminder of the ongoing struggle for LGBTQ+ rights and the importance of celebrating diversity and inclusion. It's a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and a powerful call to action for equality and acceptance.

Disappointed
vlrdnllo29 March 2024
Warning: Spoilers
This was a disappointing episode, it was not a pide episode. The only thing pride related was the fact that they were at a Pride Parade, other then that the main focus was homophobia, internalized (Travis) and just blunt (the protesters).

Morover, the choice of having Maya's brother coming back in this specific episode was SOMETHING, as it was the choice to not have not even a dialogue between the only married queer couple in the show but instead let's have a 30 sec montage followed by a scene where the guy asks tye girl to marry him for the 3rd time in 3 episodes; or as it also was the choice to have the straight characters feel like they needed to do something to fix the situation.

I'll still give it 3 stars because regardless I enjoyed seeing Maya and Carina with baby Liam and the Carina and Bailey talk about the lawsuit but this was not about celebrating queer love and queer characters.

I'm still thinking about this

Warning: Spoilers
The pride epsiode .... Or that is what they advertised it as on social media.

When I was watching I didn't mind all the scenes. I loved seeing Maya talk to Ben about her worries, I loved that carina talked to Bailey about the struggles of new motherhood and the lawsuit. I loved that we got to see them out of the station with an event we haven't seen before, ...

Their were other things happening to build up the epsiode like the protesters (still shocked they put mason in there), the Travis and his dad (and Eli) stuff, .....

It was a bit weird to me to have a 'pride' epsiode but your Married wlw couple didn't speak one word to each other.

Overal a nice epsiode but what I had hoped for or what I had expected.

Sad but beautiful episode.

Warning: Spoilers
This episode really had me hurting for Maya. The scenes with her brother showed her true family dynamic, which is obviously sad, however, it is something so many people can relate to. As always, Danielle Savre's acting was heartbreaking and amazing. These actors continue to outdo themselves even though this is unfortunately set to be the show's final season. They continuously tell these important stories that are extremely important in our society. The pride parade in this episode was just another example of that. Station 19 has plenty of touching episodes, but "True Colors" especially hit the mark.

FABRUARY

Warning: Spoilers
Episode 3: Fabruary oh this rainbow filled love fest Fabruary. Andy giving Sean a shirt because NINETEEN represents whole world peace love wins Care Bears thing. My heart is full of unicorns and rainbows. Ben with his sister Ros and Pru all decked out like Rainbow Bright. Love how this reminded me of that cartoon being full of light and joy. Maya spotting her brother as one of the protesters. Damn, didn't see that coming! Then we get Carina being a first time mom looking all disheveled seeking guidance from Bailey. Being a mom isn't easy but we find away to do it. MOMS! Then we see Chief Ross hear a noise and jump out the car like a true boss in charge. And then then you go and give us this beautiful sincere moment with Travis and his dad. EPIC!

This this this episode was fantabulous...my heart is full of so much joy. This song "Hotter Now" by Lu Kala is so freeing to listen to. Every single aspect of this episode is why Station 19 deserves to continue on with a streaming service that values YOU for just being YOU. My son is 20 who has never come out to me. He is who he is and that's enough for me. I LOVE him I SUPPORT him and I VALUE him as a person. This is what being a Station 19 member (as a fan) represents to me when it comes to PRIDE. YOU are seen for who YOU are. That right there is Tremendous!
