I absolutely ADORE this show!! Everything from the animation to the script, characters, and music is on point!! This is NOT just another adult cartoon, this one is special

Characters dialogue is real and hilarious!

This soundtrack is very well done!

The animation is both unique and oddly nostalgic!

Each character is so expressive in both animation and voice acting!! Also, Australian accents are always a win!

I'm honestly ASTONISHED with how well made this mini-series is! You can clearly tell a lot of love went into this project and it pays off!!

I have very HIGH hopes for this one, and I can't wait to see more!!!!

I got this recommended on my YouTube channel because I'm not Australian and don't get the channels. But I watched all 3 episodes in one sitting and wow. It's not like the show has a extremely original plot, it's just the same old '20 somethings get stuck in a bad job and life goes on' yet it feels so organic and new. The characters all feel like someone I would meet not only in Australia but anywhere around the world, and the conversations they have are the key reason why this show is rated so highly. The flow of conversation is so realistic, you get so used to shows being corny and unrealistic that any show that doesn't fit that stigma really sticks with you. And this show will.

I WANT MORE!!!

Only three episodes is CRIMINAL!! I get that's part of the ABC's Fresh Blood thingy, but I think it's already time for a full season or two. This is a rare gem of a show, and deserves the world. The artstyle is nice. It's a bit messy, which is NOT a bad thing at all. It adds to the "realness" of this show. The characters aren't outlandish in any way, they're just normal, young adults, stuck in a dead end job. It doesn't get any realer than that. Lily is one of the prettiest girls I've ever seen, and I am not ashamed to feel that way about a drawing. Lily and Ivan kinda remind me of Leela and Fry from Futurama. Moreso their looks, but their personalities are similiar, now that I think about it. But they're not knockoffs or anything, they're their own people. And I wanna see more! So much more. Three episodes and I'm hooked. I'm FIENDING for more. I've just been rewatching these three episodes nonstop because it's just so good. When I started the first episode, I assumed this was simply just a silly yet realistic comedy, but by the end of the third episode, I realised this show is so much more than that. Or at least, it will be, if it gets the funding it needs for more episodes. And I damn well hope so! This show has potential. And I hope the ABC or whoever gives this show a chance. We are in dire need of more shows like this, especially in the "adult" animation genre. Too many of those kinds of shows are overly raunchy, edgy or just otherwise loud. But this show is different. And I hope we get to see more of this show ASAP.
