I saw this film at HollyShorts Film Festival and thought it was a great short film. The film is set in one location - a prison visitation room. Through experience - I know how hard it can be to deliver a compelling story in 15 minutes or less, especially in only one setting, and I so give kudos to John Humber for writing such a great script.
Adele Heather Taylor portrayed a young student of journalism who visits a prisoner, played by Josh Wingate, on death row. From the minute these two actors face each other - we feel the tension and the atmosphere.
Adele showed a huge range of emotion in her performance - something that young actresses nowadays often have trouble with. She's an actress I will be looking out for in the future. Josh was very well cast as a death row inmate, due to his intense stare and tough exterior. Subtle things, such as his voice, brought a lot of realism to the film. Bravo!
Congratulations to John Humber (Writer/Director), Adele Heather Taylor (Actress, Producer), Josh Wingate (Actor) and all the other crew members. A great collaboration of artists.
