Combining time travel, alien agendas and compelling characters, Shadow 44 necessitated my watching all episodes in one sitting! Stylistically speaking, the tone of the series evokes Stanley Kubrick meeting Quentin Tarantino. This is a must see with lots of action and plenty to think about. I especially enjoyed the location choices the director made and the subtle time jumps through the dark passages of the storyline. The plot twists drove my awareness ever closer to understanding the underlying forces at work in the story.
Writer and director Alan Ray is clearly a breakout creative force to be noted. His work deserves to be seen by all fans of the genre. I can't wait to see Season Two!
