A Stylish Adrenaline Filled Ride

The stakes are always high, the environment is threatening yet fantastical in the Talisman. It's so exciting to see such grand creativity and execution put on display from upcoming artists. I was able to catch a screening of the CENFLO film festival and am beyond excited to see where this film goes. Visually, its is a feast for the eyes. The harsh shadows only brought out by glossy neon lighting, dynamic action sequences, and expressive character animations/voice acting performances that all contribute to the film's immersive quality. LOVE the use of POV through the armor. Alexander and his team created a hyper stylized fantasy film and have spared no effort in ensuring that every frame is filled with visual splendor, creating a cinematic experience that is as visually stunning as it is narratively engaging.

A motion capture genius!!!

As an independent filmmaker myself, it always warms my heart and gives me hope to see young artists defy the molding of typical commercial cinema. Director/writer Dylan Alexander is one of those artists. His award winning film Talisman is a beautiful sci-fi, fantasy epic. The world and characters he introduces us to are sublimely dark and intricate and present an aesthetic that is ultimately Star Wars meets Lord of the Rings meets Game of Thrones. Alexander does the entire movie through motion capture and in such a creative way. If you're looking for a film that takes true chances and is a refreshing take on the sci-fi genre, I could not recommend Talisman more!
