A nice journey.

I enjoyed this nice journey in the French Polynesia: beautiful landscapes and nice encounters.

There are many interesting aspects : the transports in French Polynesia ( the freighters called " goelettes", the captain Tamatea Candelot, travel to Huahine, the airplanes, the pilotArnaud Souliere flying to Rangiroa), the Polynesian canoe or va'a , Gregory Teihoarii ,the trainer of the va'a team, the haka at the beginning of the training, the race from Papeete to Moorea and return), Patrick Tairua, the guide, singer and dancer, the "Polynesian experience, the earth oven cooking, the fish eating), Bora Bora and its blue lagoon and its hotels on stilts (Fabrice Pinault , the director of the Pearl Beach Bora Bora, Denis Schneider and the coral nursery, the dance spectacles in the hotels), the atoll of Tetiaroa (Tepea Guillain and his catamaran for tourists, the story of Marlon Brando, the protected area , the birds on the islets and the project of a hotel) and the treasures of the French Polynesia (the oyster farms and the production of black pearls by Philippe Cabral, the production of vanilla- Moeara Hide, a traditional producer and Patrick Kaira+Teiva Huck, the modern producers- and the monoi oil made ith tiare flowers and coconut).

I enjoyed the encounters of Jérôme with René Avaepii, the va'a trainer in Papeete, with Patrick Tairua (snorkeling among the rays, the fire dance), with Teriimarama Olson, the tattooist and Moea Tairua , the woman who receves a tattoo, with Vincent Touvier, with Vie Jourdan in Moorea (the sea turtles) , with Yann Panheleux (the dolphins) and with Tumatarii (the Polynesian wedding planner): very nice encounters with very kind Polynesian men and women.
