Very cringe - nothing worked on this episode

Warning: Spoilers
This episode could have been scrapped altogether. The entire arcade challenge thing was so predictable and honestly just cringe worthy. I have enjoyed the series thus far but was very disappointed with this episode. So much so, I am not sure I will continue watching as it's become nothing other than a soul less soap opera. The whole plot just does not make sense anymore. Surely before she died, Susannah would have made sure the house (the entire point of this show) would have stayed with her kids, and if there was a risk that it wouldn't she would have been informed and put together a plan. The whole thing makes no sense and neither does anything after that. The aunt character is also not believable - do people really treat family like that? The daughter/cousin is also not helping the plot in any way and seems forced in.

Disappointing.

Icky episode. Sky's character could've been so much better.

I'm sorry but this episode did NOT do it for me. I'm not against Sky's identity, but her character tried so hard to be quirky and different 'I don't do hugs', 'it's they, not she.'. It all came across so fabricated. Not even the games between everyone could save this episode. The laser tag scene had me smashing the skip 10s button to get through it.

Even the interactions between the others couldn't redeem this. Taylor and Belly's brother ( I forgot his name)'s interactions were so weird. The writing in the episode was so weird. I dont know if the actors had a fight prior to this episode, but there was no chemistry.

Absolute cringefest

Warning: Spoilers
Season 2 has been bad, but this episode is the absolute worst. The gang of 20-something year old actors running around the boardwalk trying to look like teenagers was pathetic. As an actual adult, I found the characters especially annoying, and would absolutely hate to run into them in real life. Surely not all teenagers keep skipping and giggling all the time. And the whole "we have to keep the house" storyline gets extra ridiculous in this episode. Telling the real estate agent that the house is no longer for sale, hoping she'll believe it and just leave? Seriously?! Hopefully, the next episodes will be better.

Worthless episode
Wikineon7 January 2024
This was such a nonsensical episode that did nothing to move the series along. Additionally many of the scenes where just hard to watch. Not sure if there are new writers on this show, but so far four episodes in and it is becoming harder to watch.

The character of Skye is extremely hard to listen to. Her Dialogue is preachy and predictable. We get it, she is different. But it does not need to be forced down the audiences throats. Good writing is about introducing concepts in a palpable context and this episode and the character of Skye missed the mark.

I hope the episodes get better, but knowing how these things go I am not holding my breath.
